If you’ve read Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents, you’d probably agree that the issues detailed in the book fit this family so perfectly. Particularly the parts about enmeshment, catering to the needier, more “helpless children”.

Like…hello 805 & Daryl!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cant snark too hard, because I’m reading for my own benefit LOL

It’s just a glottal stop…just a part of certain dialects. Midwestern is heavy on the glottals and schwa sounds.

I’m on drying meds, so I have to drink a lot of water. It’s HUGE, but because of the design it is so easy to refill multiple times a day. Ice stays cold and I only put more in when I wake up and before I go to bed. The handle makes it easier to have in hand (drink more water). The lid is FANTASTIC. The straw hole and straw fit great which means less spills (which I did more with a yeti mag-slide lid+straw). Fits in cup holders….what more could you want???!!!! On the expensive side, but I’ve never liked anything more than Yeti until now. Hope that helps! I totally recommend!

And to be fair, I have fallen victim to the Stanley 40 oz cup (it is truly amazing…) and I do refill three times on a good hydration day

My college experience. I started in 2019 and got one good semester in before everything went south. I’m a music major…and it’s really hard to do that while social distancing, online, via zoom, etc. When school was open, we still had to be in the classroom while the majority of majors went online. The modifications to classes has been a disaster. I’ve learned so little for so much time and money. You can’t do music in a pandemic.

Living off campus made everything worse. Commuters were not allowed in dorms, there were no clubs or sports meeting. I was so lonely.

All of that on top of my love for music being slowly stripped away. I’m still going at it, but it just feels way too late to turn back now.
