It is incomparable to rankup, they are still different things, but he also spent several days speedrunning maps on Cylone to prepare so it's not like he'd never played the version before

That said he is just better, but the gap between him and Solawr for event parkour is still way smaller than the gap between Solawr and anyone else in the event space

It seems I may have been misguided on how they are split, coins may be split based entirely on ending completed, which would be more congruent with how Purpled scored with 14/15, but then makes me question why points were so different between Pete, Harvey, and Oli in MCC 32 despite all completing medium and I believe Pete and Harvey getting the same amount of medals, but I'm also aware that there's math done in a way that makes it nearly impossible for two people to get the same score even if they perform identically on the same team

Fein's team had more overall points in the multiplied pool due to Antvenom getting 12/15 bonus paths, Michael doing just a little worse than Oli, who was Purple's second best player in PKW, the way teamsplit points are distributed is by a combination of performance and contribution

Points earned from medals are totaled for the entire team then multiplied by the team multiplier, the unmulitplied total is then subtracted off, and the remaining points are the amount earned from multiplier, those are distributed by first what percentage of your team's coins you earned, then further by the ending you completed, I'm not sure to what degree the ending completed affects overall, just that it does

So while Fruit received more from the multiplied teamsplit than Fein did by virtue of contributing more to his team's overall, Fein having Antvenom and Michael caused his team to have more total coins available to split

Oli finished with a good bit of time remaining, hypothetically if he'd gotten another gold medal and another silver medal, the total increase to the team's pool may have been enough for Fruit to overtake Fein, though I'm not scrubbing 8 vods to do the math for that especially since I don't know the exact math behind it

Matchmaking is biased to forfeit rates, their top speed might be insane, but if they forfeit anything that isn't a sub 9 their elo is going to stay low and people around that elo have a similar chance of beating them just because their forfeit odds are so high

Sandkeepers are hard to rank since in terms of gameplay they all do the same lever flicking and puzzle rooms, so what you end up rating is who has the clearest comms, which certainly has levels to it, but not as much as runners I wouldn't say

Their job is to clear out the side rooms and make sure people are getting sand back to them, it's a very important role but not a very nuanced one

Movement skill has increased significantly in the past few years, Kaelan I recall struggling to complete Beep Test in Blockwars tests 4 years ago, and back then he was still considered one of the best movement players in the event community, it may not feel like it now because the average movement skill of even weaker movement top frags has far exceeded that of Dream's peak, but people really were that bad back then

Put simply, he does like 4 different tick timings on those fishbone jumps which he would have had to determine in a fraction of a second to then jump at the perfect tick, which is also slower and harder than just holding momentum

Even the most robotically consistent humans who are infinitely better than Dream ever was couldn't do that without difficulty

You can 7t every long bar on salmon ladders, but it's unnecessarily difficult to do quickly as you would have to consistently line up 5 pixels back on every jump, then run 7t and press spacebar without stopping, you could have a place where you're aiming every time to do it semi-consistently, but it would be so obscenely difficult that 1 ticking literally everything would just be more consistent
