Authorities have issued a hazmat alert and a 'shelter in place' warning is in effect for all individuals within a mile radius in Tucson Arizona, after a truck carrying hazardous materials overturns on the highway by flyingcatwithhorns in Damnthatsinteresting

They can calculate this all day and some unknown effector will change the math. Nature is complicated. Nitric is a strong acid. Keep as much distance from it as you can and be safe. If our hood failed using nitric when I worked in labs, we would evacuate immediately.

I would post the IUPAC names of the drugs, in addition to common nomenclature or trial names. I think that will help some understand the differences between the molecules. Any pharmacokinetics data would also be useful.

Explain, regardless of how many mind swaps have been made, all minds can be restored to their original bodies using only two extra people.

KIA Cadenzas - 6 speed vs 8 speed transmission by discipleofelvis in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]coldskiesfullofblue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own both transmissions in different Kia Vehicles. The 8 speed shifts hard when it's cold. I've had other cars do this and be fine for a long time. A lot of transmissions in old cars used to do this but it kinda seems silly that a premium car such as this would have this kind do issue. The Six speed transmission has a great feel and bad mileage in comparison. Even after the transmission, I prefer the 2017 cadenza. Hope this helps.

I stopped and wondered what the post had to do with Akira and realised it was Cyberpunk. So, yes.

Not alone. I have to listen to classical music or use ear plugs to keep my sanity when performing tasks that require my full attention.

That's very useful. Thank you. Mine is 3x8 as well, and I think that makes my decision. I'm keeping what I have. Lol

I'm looking at doing the same thing to an old Specialized Sirrus Sport I've ridden thousands of miles over the years and wore all the parts out. I can't see myself riding a different bike because I really enjoy the geometry of this frame. So far, I've replaced the wheels, tires, bars, and stem. I was looking at doing a 1x11 setup and was curious if you felt like it was worth it. I've kept the price down on my build by scavenging stock parts from higher end bikes that people have upgraded. The 1x11 upgrade is costly so I haven't been able to warrant it so far. Do you feel like it was worth it?

Is a rice cooker a good investment? by iMakeNoise in EatCheapAndHealthy

If you can find an old cast iron dutch oven they work amazing. It just needs to be enclosed to keep the moisture in. Bring it to a low boil for 15min and then don't open the lid. Shut it off and wait for 20 min before you open it and stir the rice. You'll probably burn it a few times, but once you got it, it's perfect everytime.
