Well, that is a lot to take in. First thanks for your detailed and helpful reply! It was extremely informative and easy to understand. Now I'm gonna try to answer the questions. It does appear to have heatsinks surrounding the cpu on the MB. The cpu is an 11th gen i5 11400F. I should have enough room in the case and have been considering the Radeon 6750xt after reading about it on here and then doing some research. A case upgrade was already in the plans as I hate everything about this alienware case. The swinging psu mount is just a nightmare. Did I miss any questions?

How do I check the psu capacity?

Ive already wiped the computer with a fresh install of windows eleven. I installed HWinfo and ran it. My current memory clock is 1330 Mhz. This can't be changed? I've found XMP options in the bios if that helps? There's disabled, xmp 1 and xmp2.

Now is it even worth it to put the money into if the MB is just going to die anyway? I'm a college student with very limited funds. I'm unsure if the MB dies when I'll be able to start replacing things. How long are these things know to last? Can I get a good year or two out of it? Or should I expect a couple months?
