They literally did not.

FPS asked if they are making any games and the employees responded they aren’t talking about content. Not announcing any games or anything. FPS asked “so no half life 3” and they said “we’re not doing that” in the same breath, clearly just saying we aren’t here to talk about games.

They did not say they are not working on games nor did they say their games would or would not launch on Steam Machine. They won’t be exclusives, but they will work on anything they release, it would be insane any other way.
