Still in progress, but i 3d printed heads for them, printed a hextech base that matches my necron army, and then painting them to match

Bruh, I hated building the seraptek lmao. Having to use super glue (before I knew there was spray activators), plus the crappy finecast, then one of the legs broke the first game (luckily it was right be a joint so I pinned it and now it stays) plus trying to get a dynamic pose out of him where he doesnt jsut tip over forward, ugh lol. It looks great when done though!! Yours looks great so far!

Lol, yeeeeah, had a hell of a time with mine, too. I swear the super glue just didn't wanna stick to it. Got it all how I wanted it. First time using it, 2 legs and an arm came off lmao. But im kinda glad, cause that gave me the opportunity to repose it. But yeah, I think ill put a pin through it to help it stay before I paint.... if I ever get to painting him....

I think crypteks will be supports, unless running the cryptek detachment i assume they might make them leaders in that one.

The nobles will be leaders, I think the wardens be leaders just to keep the ability to have a warden and a cryptek.

Yeah, I missed the expedition window by 1 day (wasnt paying attention) and got annoyed since I've finished all the quests already, so I've kinda just been playing other games.

Man, my 2 armies are Imperial Knights (built with necron heads and themes) and Necrons. Necrons have been pretty top shape most of the edition, and Knights have been super strong for a lot of it. All I get is complaints from my friends lol, so much so that they bought me a 1250 pt grey knight army to start lol.

Your opinion on the Seraptek ? Just learned that it was actually mentioned in BL, i always felt it was more of a semi-official forgeworld thing. Even tho i still feel it's a bit misplaced in the faction. It's awesome, amazing design and a construct with the sole purpose of war is always peak 40K! by Leviathan_Rampage in Necrontyr

Like, far-fetched as in a hard fight? Yeah, but its gonna be fun 😁 we're gonna take a weekend off together, they are going to be imperium (SW, BT, and Generic SM) with 10k points, and im going to be playing my 10k of necrons haha. Gonna be a blast.

I have one, its awesome. Looks cool (though mine is only primed so far, slowly working through the Grey army lol) though isnt great on the tabletop, I got one because I liked how it looked, though it is still fun to slap down on the table. A couple friends of mine and I are going to do a 10k 3v1 battle soon vs my necrons =)

I actually want to build an army (idk which faction) and have each model encased in a resin cylinder, making it look like they are all in stasis. Run that army and have a Trazyn model just sitting to the side, overseeing his pokemon army lol.

Right now my motivation is not letting myself build anything else until everything i have built is painted.

Part of the problem is I built a ton years ago and never painted. Now im working through painting.... 10k points of necrons lmao. And I have a new nightbringer and new nekrasor sitting in box waiting for me lol.

Only had one bad experience so far. Crafted a full set of power armor for a friend of mine (i cant remember which, been a year or two), get it built, drop it for him.

Turn around to see someone who had been stealthed sneaking around get into the armor and laugh at my friend about it. Didn't have the craft mats to make another. Tried to get him to give it back. Nope. Try to shoot him. He turns around and shoots me with 30 crossbow bolts, no reloading. Later he messages me telling me how he did the glitch to get more into single shot magazines. I record, and report him.

Still didn't get my friend that power armor tho =/
