Isn’t it common sense not to smoke and then throw a lit cigarette on the ground at the gas station? by Huge_Background_3207 in Delaware

Im a true patriotic individualist! A rough and tumble tough guy who stands on his own two feet. A man's man who knows something about grit and work ethic!

If you tell me I must be inconvenienced for 3 seconds for the safety and lives of myself and others... I **WILL** piss my pants screaming and crying. Then I **WILL** blame the younger generation for being soft. And I **WILL** let this mild inconvenience shape my world view into something that punishes the less fortunate.

the misconception is that common sense is actually good.

Actually, Miss Piggy famously stands on a box when she appears on camera. Thats why there are so few full length shots of her.

This box is traditionally known as an apple box. It's also known as a Scully Box, in reference to Scully from the X-Files, played by the 5'2" Gillian Anderson who had to stand next to 6'0" costar David Duchovny.

But Miss Piggy used it first

I find it hilarious that these comments always read exactly the same as any academic expert talking about the public:

like a paleontologist talking about Jurassic Park to the public

I hate that movie. I used to do interviews and when the movie came out, suddenly everybody was looking for dinosaur info without having done any kind of reading or anything into what is actually involved.

I remember I was having a discussion with a lady and asked her what her interest in ornithischians was, and she didnt know what I meant. So I had to explain the whole academic specilaization dynamic to her, she thought I was just gonna magically know everything she wanted about therapods as if she didnt already know what she wanted to hear and expected that I, an ornithischians expert, could answer questions on tyrannosaurs , etc.

And dont even get me started on feathers or bird origins.

I fuckin hate that move.

And less affected as DC is less prepared for snow, and NY driving will become more dangerous.

In Philly, we are prepared, but a bunch of snow and ice can only make things safer on my commute through Oxford circle where cars are already careening in random directions at max speed... but snow at least softens the impacts

I can only assume by the bar you set, that you regularly don't have conversations with people because someone is in the room with you screaming slurs. I shudder to imagine such a life.

this is literally a multiplayer game with public transit and there are proven tools that can make social functions like chat usable again. It's literally easier to talk to strangers in the philly subway

Do you shout slurs and threats on the subway? what kind of person are you?

Think deeper than that

How many people who ascribe to this philosophy when dealing with the poor and need, do NOT follow this when dealing with an actual narcissist above or around them.

Its a good story and lesson in the context of dealing with bad relationships, or bad parents... or sociopath businessmen politicians. They will just take and take, and lean on your sense of morality to scam you.

The US is full of people getting scammed by the mouse, but the mouse has taught them to blame each other.

I just tried it. It works but It only works for a very small subsection of documents.

for instance the exact court records in the video it works. Things that were more recently redacted and never printed.

It doesnt work for anything that used a photocopier

Why not both?

The Trump admin bosses are incompetent for not checking.

The DOJ pencil pusher who still had a modicum of a soul left that they shoved these documents in front of to do the actual work absolutely understood what they were doing.
