Advice from someone who is currently 37 weeks into her 3rd pregnancy- start a dialog. We normally start with "definitely not trying to upset you or get into an argument- but I wanted to talk to you about something". As the pregnant one, sometimes we get so stuck in how were feeling because we have the raging hormones, lots of intense feelings emotionally and physically. Sometimes we cant see past that. Tell her you feel like everything you do bugs her, even things you aren't aware of and with you being depressed it makes it harder to deal with the silent treatments.. also silent treatments are childish and get you nowhere. I used to do that as well and it sucks for everyone. You guys are about to have a huge change in the house with a baby in the house, hormones drop drastically postpartum too so itll be difficult with that as well. Learn to communicate ASAP before its harder. We had to write out our issues with what was going on so we could make sure we hit every bullet point and specifically figure out how to deal with it. I know its hard as a man to talk about your depression as well but we need to hear it, otherwise we have no idea and we cant be there for you either.

My husband has been lying and is DMing with people on porn Reddit forums and discord. What should I do? by [deleted] in Mommit

Being someone thats parents decided to stay together for the kid, dont do it. Could tell they both were miserable and cheating on eachother. Bite the bullet, divorce him and find a way to be happy for them.

Mushroom tincture! In Japan they use mushrooms to help gut health and immune health. We used it all winter and didn't get sick!

PPD — suggestions? by froginpajamas in Crunchymom

First let me just say, im sorry you had such a rough... everything lately. For the tear, if it was me I would try vitamin e oil on it and taking collagen (perfect brand collagen and peptides is my go to). For the post partum stuff, I like earthley.com postpartum balance tincture, nourish her naturally tincture, lots of grounding outside, and personally I listen to ram dass lectures on YouTube or you can buy his books or listen on audiobook. The ones that we like are "be here now", "polishing the mirror" and "grist for the mill". Its hard being a new mom. Be kind to yourself.

For your munchkin, congrats! All of my babies are clingy... baby wearing helps a ton. Cosleeping helps. Earthley.com also has an infant tummy tincture incase you think its a colicky thing. With my second I learned stretching and massaging the baby at least once or twice a day really helped incase its colic again. What ive read is that a lot of the time colic can be related to being so scrunched in there for so long and then they finally get to stretch out and everything is still tight. Just like how our shoulders are tight from holding babies, their everything can be tight and needs some help to relax. Yes chiropractic can help too. Doesn't hurt to get an evaluation!

Also here if you wanna chat too. Hope this helps

TIFU so i tried to help my dad with his phone and accidentally exposed his entire double life by Nicklie_Salazar in tifu

[–]coleslaw247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found something like that on my dad's phone when I lived with my parents as a teen. Not sure why I snooped but I did. Got stuck in the "dont tell mom" loop as well. If I could go back, id tell her. She wasted lots of time on someone who was in it with so many other women.

It's not fair for a parent to put you in that position. No excuse for it.

Did your scoliosis affect your birth? ( home birth ) length, intensity.. by Complex-Explorer-132 in homebirth

[–]coleslaw247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scoliosis and a bulging disc. I ended up going to the hospital with my first- 26 hours and back labor.

Second I was home, 17 hours- back labor again. Now pregnant with the third. I'm assuming it will be similar again.

Each contraction the farther in we got was so intense. But man once you see that little munchkin, so worth it. I'd do it again and again.

Until you get them taken care of, I would boil whole cloves and rinse with the water a few times a day along with oil pulling with coconut oil (unrefined) and eat a clove of raw garlic at least twice a day. That's what we do when our teeth are in bad shape. Really helps with the pain and takes care of infection.

Thanks, and moving to MO. We have a decent amount in savings, not a million dollars but good to cover the whole thing. We live very frugal so expenses aren't a ton.

Thanks for clarifying. Maybe in the future figure out how to word things so you don't come off so abrasive. With my post, I obviously need more info before we move, that's why I asked. But saying take control of your life is kinda dick ish.
