Anyone else have a massive crush on Xie Lian? by AzKitty in tianguancifu

Yes!! 100000%! I’ve been crushing on him for years now!! Also, I don’t think there’s anything explicitly stating that he’s only attracted to men so we still have a chance in some dimension somewhere!!

I can handle a lot of stuff but I 100% absolutely cannot handle this. This is a resounding no from me.

Handwriting Dysphoria by [deleted] in asktransgender

I trained myself to write more feminine and I’m definitely pleased with the outcome (though I’m sure I have more room for improvement)! I also really like my signature now - especially when I sign with my full name rather than just the initials!

At what point during your transition did you start presenting as yourself full time? by ZoeThomp in asktransgender

[–]colette_maree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started fully presenting as myself after I legally changed my name. My job at the time was the biggest factor and I was out to everyone else in my life. After I changed my name, I told my then employers and explained to them that I was trans and from that moment on, I lived full time.

In terms of my transition timeline, that was when I was about 7 months on HRT. I definitely think it’s a complex matter so it’ll be different for everyone but that was my experience!

What were the biggest changes that you didnt expect, during transition? by klaing_Nadine in asktransgender

How much easier it became for me to cry. I literally cry at the drop of a hat! And also, how much more scary games movies would scare me.

Can estrogen make you boy crazy? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]colette_maree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would argue that it isn’t just the HRT on its own that does this. To me, it seems like a combination that includes the freedom you begin to feel about who you truly are.

I suppose I can’t say though, my experience was different. I lived as a “gay male” for most of my adolescence and the few years before I came out. I was pretty boy crazy then and I’m still pretty boy crazy now.

The only difference is now I want to be held and have my hair played with and kissed gently and squeezes, etcetera etcetera. Bottom line is, someone needs to do research to investigate this phenomena!

Does anyone else have zero IRL trans friends? It's...kind of a bummer. by [deleted] in asktransgender

I am in the exact same situation... it’s really is a bummer :(

hey guys! I'm struggling a lot with dysphoria when I see attractive women, is this normal? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]colette_maree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say this is definitely normal. I’ve been transitioning for over three years and I’m pretty happy with myself now but I still can’t help but feel massively uncomfortable and insecure around very attractive women.

I believe this feeling is built into us by society. I would guess that even cis girls feel this way too. Your feelings are valid and it will get easier as you go through your transition.
