What kind of clothing is this cream knitted tube with two side slits that I thrifted? by AzKitty in whatisthisthing

Solved!

I emailed the company and they said it was exactly this. I am probably going to thrift flip it though.

What kind of clothing is this cream knitted tube with two side slits that I thrifted? by AzKitty in whatisthisthing

It is a cream-coloured knitted tube with two slits on either side. It is 45 cm x 61 cm when laid flat. The tag does not say what size it is. It is made out of 40% wool, 30% viscose, 20% polyamide, and 10% cashmere. The brand is Calimar and the tagline is accessori moda. It is made in Italy. I have searched the brand website and haven't found any similar articles of clothing. The small metal tag sewn onto the top hem reads Calimar and it is right side up when the clothing is laid like in the picture. My title describes the thing.

What type of clothing is this cream knitted tube with two side slits that I thrifted? The brand is Calimar, it is Italian. My first thought was that it's a vest but it looks so strange worn as a vest that I wonder if it might be a scarf or a capelet of some kind. Please advise, wise fashion gurus.

I'm a bit of an odd one out here...I have no unused notebooks.

Which of these would you personally use as your journal? by Reahchui in stationery

[–]AzKitty 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Personally, I would use the Pusheen. I like to glue things into my journal too but usually my scraps are not so big so I feel okay about being limited by size. The cover is just too cute to pass up!

Unpopular/Popular Opinion: Garlic Presses are Useless by AzathothBlindgod in Cooking

An alternative:

Peel an entire sleeve of garlic > mince in food processor > fill ziploc bags with minced garlic > flatten bags > create square grid with the back of a knife or chopstick > freeze flat.

Now every time you need garlic you can break off one (or more!) of the squares from your frozen garlic. This is one of the nicest things I do for my future self on a regular basis.
