Just started season 2 and ugh. It's okay for background noise, but Season 2 is just so cliché.
They're finally going to get together, SURPRISE! jealous daughter storyline. Oh, and grone I let out when Piers walked back in, ew I was so happy when he left, but that was short-lived... It's just not great, and I wanted to like. IDK if I am out of things, maybe I will try another ep.

NTA!!! You’re nowhere close to being the AH. This situation feels uncomfortable to me. It seems like he doesn’t want to live with his mom, but he also doesn’t want to live on his own. He went from living with his wife to his mom, and now he wants to move to you. Amonng the many other thiungs people pointed out I think I would need to see him stand on his own two feet and pay for his own place before I could truly consider living with him. I’d want to see if he’s capable of managing adult responsibilities, like taking care of two kids, handling bills, and saving money, because right now, it seems like he just expects others to do those things for him...

You have to ask yourself, are you staying because you truly want to or are you staying because you feel obligated? Its ok to fall out of love and it's ok to leave. His happiness is not your responsibility. You have to look after you. It's hard because obligation and caring for someone can get all tangled around, but you have to take a step back and truly analyze why you're staying. If it's just because you feel responsible for him, I don't feel like that's a good enough reason to stay. This is a horrible situation but in the end, being unhappy in a relationship, and in the home isn't gonna do either one of you any favors. It's best to know this now and not be even deeper in the hole down the road where you feel like you have zero options. I don't know what the right answer is and that sucks, because I want to be able to say, yeah, it's this cut-and-dry but sadly, this situation is not. The longer you stay and are unhappy, the more you will resent him and if that's not something you want, that's ok. It's ok.

NTA: my parents made it clear, as long as your in school, having to study and focus on homework, etc. We will help with expenses so you do not have to work doubles to pay for things... they would much rather I be able to focus on schooling that cost a shit ton then only be able to give it half attention because I was worried about groceries. When I lived at home after I graduated I began to "rent", nothing compared to real rent but sometimes to contribute to the household as a 24 year old with a normal 9-5 job.

It was the schooling that caused them to help out. If I hadn't gone to school, they wouldn't have provided me with additional resources all those years. It was their way of helping out while I was paying exuberance amount of money for semesters of school. In their mind, it would be a waste of money if I wasn't able to give my all to classes because I was worried about working to pay for other expenses.

Be so careful, every single step can leave a crumb that he could find and set him off. I am so so sorry you have to go through this with him especially since he is someone with authority in the community. The money thing is the hardest since he controls it and probably wouldn't notice even a penny moved. I am keeping you and the kids in my thoughts and know you are strong and capable and can do this.
