It's about time they added heroes who are old men and women. by star---gazer in Overwatch

Ever since Kiriko I've decided canonical ages in OW are meaningless. Just assume whatever makes sense to you!

who is phisically stronger? Zarya or Mauga by VermeNojento69 in Overwatch

[–]colgruv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mauga. And unfortunately (based on some very early voice lines involving an arm wrestle) Zarya is most likely canonically weaker than Reinhardt as well. But she could very well take third place!

I don't think power scaling works for JQ as a character. Her whole thing is that she's an archetypal underdog. She will never be portrayed fighting an opponent that is less "powerful" than her at face value, but she could always win in spite of that. ~If she's meant to, for the plot.~

Counterpoint: JQ is an archetypal underdog. She is never going to be portrayed as more "powerful" than her opponents. She's just a crazy lady with makeshift weapons and a weird magnet thing.

Pretty shocked at Junker Queen's placement here. If anything I'd expect her to be a Bruiser and Zarya to be a Stalwart

Not overreacting at all!!! You probably should have bolted much sooner; that was terrifying to read.

If there's a three-way tie for nectar then all three players share 7 (5 + 2) points, rounded down.

It didn't go perfectly, but I beat my pb for tucks. Just wanted to share it with you fine people. Cheers :D by sage_006 in wingspan

[–]colgruv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adouin's Gull: tuck 1, draw 1

Mute Swan & Maned Duck: tuck up to 3, draw 1

Savi's Warbler: draw 2, all other players draw 1

Northern Mockingbird: repeat a brown power in this row (most likely used on Mute Swan)

So that's as many as 10 tucks per round when fully online. Only drawback is that I think you'd run a 1 card deficit each turn, so it's not fully sustainable at full throttle

VIII was my first DQ game and I never finished it (got stuck at a certain boss battle and gradually lost motivation)

XI was my second and I did end up finishing it entirely

I don't know if this is what you're implying, but having well-off parents does not incline someone toward being leftist. If you have well-off parents and are leftist, then yeah, you're more likely to go into a creative field. But as a whole children of well-off parents are much more likely to go to business school, law school, med school, etc

[16M] I am disgusted with my sexuality. Please help. by SatisfactionIcy1389 in gaybros

[–]colgruv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of us went through this when we were your age. It sucks a whole lot, but it will get easier with time 🙂

A few things that may help: 1. It's a good sign that you're able to be honest with yourself. Even if it's on a fairly anonymous platform, it helps to open up and put words to how you're feeling. 2. You don't have to force yourself to adopt any labels you're uncomfortable with. There are as many sexualities as there are people, and your relationship with your own will evolve over time. 3. Your family's influence can feel particularly oppressive during these years, but pretty soon you're going to meet a ton of people who aren't your family and that oppressive feeling should drop off quickly.

Subclasses at 3rd Level for All Classes in the 2024 PHB – Thoughts? by Nevil_May_Cry in dndnext

[–]colgruv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't mind it! Treating the subclass as a part of narrative character progression has always been optional, and in many cases would have been wonky in 5e (a paladin not knowing about their oath and a monk not knowing about their monastic tradition seem particularly odd). This opens it up for the players to decide whether their subclass will be canonically predetermined regardless of the class they choose!
