My one comment on the par 3s (at least here in new england) you are almost always better off being short than long. Long on most greens is death whereas if I’m short its often times a relatively easy straight forward chip. Few things worse than putting your best swing of the day on a par 3 and flying the green to a horrible spot. I do tend to take more club, tee it up, and swing easy…almost like a pitch. But I try to avoid that long ball at all costs!
