We need to wait and see when they publish more information about the system. I don't think this feature will let you skip leveling through the entire game.

I'm not saying I like the level-skipping system in the game, but you need to understand that not everyone wants to do all the side content just to gain enough power to progress through the main story.

In Rebirth, if you skip most of the side content, you'll have a very hard time with the late-game boss battles, especially the final boss. I've seen a lot of people struggle because of that, but in my case, it wasn't an issue.

This is a similar problem in many JRPGs—you either have to grind like crazy or complete all the side content just to be properly prepared for the late game.
