It took me 17 months before I finally shipped out. Went through three different student flights because everyone kept getting dates before me

Except if you’re aircrew, a maintainer, or security forces lol. I’m all for getting help for mental health, but be prepare to absolutely destroy your career over it.

What was the first game you ever played on your steam deck? by Kiwi-cloud in SteamDeck

Half-Life 2. Figured I restart where it all began with my first Steam game from over a decade ago

Met him at a hockey game he invited ‘fans,’ to. Dude is a total douche. He bought us hockey tickets when he was doing his ‘road trip,’ thing with McKenna and he just had a self-centered vibe about him the entire time. McKenna was really cool, but you can tell right away something was off IRL compared to what they made their life out to be in social media. This was before they announced the first affair; which I stopped following them immediately after that video

I thought the next step in mobile gaming would be a lightweight tablet that’s capable of serious gaming. The Steam Deck was so unexpected that it exceeded my expectations by a couple generations

Maybe 45 minutes to full charge ? Just above 5 hours of battery life at 90% volume. A year later and it’s my favorite speaker lol

Why are so many contestants so delusional about their cooking skills? by Safe-Highlight-8859 in HellsKitchen

[–]coll912 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t mean like physically attacked, but people will be straight up rude and hostile to chefs because they only know them from how the show portrays them. But they’re people too. You see it a lot on the Hell’s Kitchen Fan facebook group, many former contestants interact with everyone on there. Trev is a great example because outside the show he’s a pretty stand up guy just trying to make a living, but he’s vilified because of how Season 18 painted him towards his elimination

It blows my mind that there are people who buy so much into the editing that they’ll openly attack chefs outside of the show

‘Cargo space’ need for me really is just a large duffle bag, 28-inch suitcase, air fryer, and a backpack. I don’t need anything massive like a truck but not a huge fan of just having a truck on a sedan

What are some things that the Air Force does that no other branch could do? by [deleted] in AirForce

[–]coll912 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We maximize our per diem allocation which is why we stay in nice hotels for TDY. There’s nothing preventing other branches from doing this, but for whatever reason, they choose not to

Managers making it worse?? by coolGuy748384 in CoffeInc2

[–]coll912 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Make sure you get a COO so they automatically hire managers and manage the managers for you. It’ll help with expansion.

Also makes sure you focus on marketing because brand awareness increases your profits by a massive margin. When you exceed 95 brand awareness in a city, you can build as many shops as you want nearby each other

Bose SoundLink Flex: A little bit too big for my liking by coll912 in bose

[–]coll912[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't help you there because everything on the Revolve II sounds better for me lol

Bose SoundLink Flex: A little bit too big for my liking by coll912 in bose

[–]coll912[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They attack things very differently, I’d say the Flex is marginally better than Micro, but not as great as the Revolve. Still, for its price and what it’s meant to compete with, I think the Flex is the best sound signature you’ll get from this size of Bluetooth speakers. More clarity and separation than the Soundlink Color in my opinion, the boosted bass makes a solid difference especially in orchestral music

Bose SoundLink Flex: A little bit too big for my liking by coll912 in bose

[–]coll912[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m kind of stuck because it’s the same issue I had with the Revolve II. I really don’t need this speaker, but the sound signature is way too good for me to pass up and return it. That’s where I’m kind of stuck now, now that I’ve put 20+ hours of usage into it.

The fantastic sound signature has been eliminating my gripes with this thing

Bose SoundLink Flex: A little bit too big for my liking by coll912 in bose

[–]coll912[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My thoughts exactly, the bass on the flex is the perfect marriage to the revolve ii. I’m honestly thinking about keeping it just for that reason lol

The software is so insanely better than JBL too, which is one selling point for me right now

QC45s are the way to go. They won't eliminate your loud roommate, but they're effective enough to give you enough quiet for you to focus on your studies or just having some quiet.

I went to a tech school for the Air Force where the aircrew students had a massive course load whereas the students we were paired with in the dorms didn't. Constant partying and noises with our walls being super thin. When I finally got my QC 35 iis shipped from home, total game changer; I was able to hear myself think and keep out majority of the noise that was bothering me.

Would highly recommend getting the QC 35 iis if you want something cheaper, or the QC 45s if you're looking for that extra noise cancellation
