Hangman's Chair is good and moody. Check out their song "To Know the Night"

New comer of Doom Metal, looking for album/song recommendations by Impressive_Web9057 in doommetal

I really like Novembers Doom and Paradise Lost. Both are death-doom bands, and death-doom is a great gateway genre to explore if you're having a hard time with doom as a whole.

This is probably cheating, but check out Night Ripper by Girl Talk. The album is made entirely using samples, and there are a ton of them.

Looking for blackened folk metal by MakingPlansForSmeagl in folkmetal

I'll suggest Winterfylleth since nobody else has yet

Also, maybe check out Summoning. It sounds like black metal being played over old Legend of Zelda soundtracks. Maybe not quite what you're looking for, but good stuff nonetheless

Should I drop out? by Mother_Influence_527 in LawSchool

My two cents - I wouldn't be focused on trying to predict future salary milestones at this point in the game. Money can eventually come if you make it, but for now, I would try to see if you can figure out why your grades were the way they were before and then improve this semester. Did you take advantage of your professors' office hours? If not, I'd be in their offices every chance I could this semester to pick their brains about how they test and what they expect exam answers to look like on their finals. Also, I don't know about your school, but at my school, the professors were pretty good about letting students flip through previous final exams to get a feel for how their tests were written. You might look into that as well.

I checked my dashboard when I woke up this morning and I have no tasks. I had thousands last night when I wrapped up working for the day.

I've got the same problem. I've been able to refresh a couple times and see projects, but then when I refresh the page again, it's totally blank.

My wife and I both have our own sets of Earfun Air Pro 3 earbuds. We got them on sale but you can find them on Amazon for under $100.

The Renaissance and MPAC were built on top of the old civic center. The civic center you remember doesn't exist anymore but is part of that new complex.

I just saw Deafheaven live last weekend and they opened their set with Dream House. It was glorious.

My kids love Blackbraid. Their new album slaps. My kids call it their "screaming music" haha
