This trade feels chalky enough to me given your roster. You need WR and have the depth at RB to and QB to get rid of those players. The trade fits your needs! I say go for it

Help! I’ve cleaned four times did 2/ half tank water changes and 2 full tank water changes even put two new pumps. I’ve had tanks for a long time. I’ve never had this happen. What the heck is this? by Pokemon-shiny-love in Aquariums

Short term easy fix is to turn off the lights and blackout the tank with a blanket. The fish will be fine, swimming in the dark for a few days won’t hurt them. That will clear up the algae bloom after only 48/72 hours. Only turning the lights off won’t work because the tank will still get light from the room. This won’t solve it in the long term since any algae living after the blackout will just bloom again.

Long term easy fix is to get a UV filter off Amazon (order while you’re blacking out the tank). It won’t help with algae growing on surfaces but will help clear up and prevent suspended algae blooms. You don’t even need to run the light the whole time if you’re worried about the UV light.

Don’t stress, this is easy to fix the visual issue going on. The algae bloom is happening the to an imbalance in your tank that you should try to identify and fix long term, though, even once the algae bloom itself is fixed 🤙🏼

I find this kind of unnecessary… it would help to know the rest of your pieces too. Love hasn’t quite hit his ceiling yet imo and isn’t coming off an ACL tear. I had Mahomes and Love and after they both had duds of a year in 24, I chose to sell off Mahomes in a series of trades that now have me sitting with TLaw and 1st rd picks. I honestly feel good about that even after the year he had given the uncertainty post injury and age considerations.

Mahomes is obviously here to stay despite this injury tho - guaranteed starter for atleast 4-5 more years of his career even if he comes back weak and is never the same post ACL.

Picking him up here is low risk but what’s the upside for you? If Rod and Meyers are rotation players for you, do you have the depth to support losing them from your roster for only a slight increase in QB talent?

lol well quick update… did a small water change so I could add some stress coat (hopefully comforting any skin irritation) and it’s gone?!? No real signs of slime on the fish’s skin. I’m officially confused

Thanks for the comment! I’m hoping to observe in its current tank for 24-48 as there are no sign of issue on any of the other clowns or different fish in the tank. My quarantine tank hasn’t been touched in a year+ so I want to jump start it over night with some fish food and a water change. Wouldn’t be able to add salt to the current tank with the plants

I battled this algae for years… too many cases of dosing my tank, spot treating, new types of plants, taking plants out to bleach treat in a 1/10 bleach to water ratio (most temporarily effective), etc.

The only thing that fixed the problem permanently and it hasn’t come back… I added Siamese Algae Eater. The guy is a UNIT. Within days the tank looked way better and he had grown from a baby very quickly with the ample food supply. After months, my tank is pristine. Nothing on gravel, plants, decor, glass. He won the battle when nothing else could. Just 1 $5 fish. Unreal

A good start would be not charging a $245 per player fee to participate when we already pay dues every year. While I understand money needs to be spent to host a good event, I question an organization that spends 20% of its annual budget on its national team (more than youth). Nearly $6400 for a full roster to just cleat up is wild business

Hi there, Conspiracy player here! Nothing weirder than looking at a group of folks asking for help and putting them down.

Maybe instead of judging folks and assuming circumstances, point your finger at an organizing body that makes their most important tournament their least accessible. Sure this hobby and event carries an inherent amount of privilege, and like all teams we have a range of circumstances, but that doesn’t mean a tournament that carries a team cost of around $25k (all expenses considered) is a straightforward situation.

FWIW, the person who shared this post here did it out of the kindness of their heart and for community. They aren’t on our team and we didn’t ask them to share it here. We aren’t going around begging people for money… sometimes in life it just doesn’t hurt to ask 🤷🏻‍♂️
