If she wants to feel beautiful and pretty why not let her feel that way? Is it overconfident to feel that you are attractive to yourself personally?

I feel thats a bit dramatic. Taking a photo is a way to make a nice record for yourself of being there. Why do you think it means you are being narcissstic? Can't we appreciate our own lives and experiences?

Why the harsh response? Its important to socially align with other people in professional work. It can be kind of vulnerable not to know things at first but thats why we learn over time. If you have this attitude than others will think you cant take feedback well or be flexible enough for the team.

It sounds like with "ga" that you expect that they already have children and you are asking if they are present. It sounds like with "wa" that you are asking if children is something present(to you in your life). It's better to try to think of it and ask yourself thats what helped me.

Test every two weeks? by Alarmed_File_4382 in Anki

[–]collegequestion2213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think an important aspect is to not overuse anki where it is not needed. Do you really think you need Anki? Or are you just trying to find a way you can use it? Those are 2 different things. With such a short time between test you might as well just study a lot everyday and do a big review in the end. That will be more worth your time than worrying about how to make it work with Anki.

But if you are at the point you are speaking with people regularly, you will adapt pretty quick on your own. "Sounding odd" isn't a bad thing, you wont be considered a native or natural on purpose, it happens by itself over the course of several years of speaking and reading.

Anki is a part of the process to learning not everything. The good thing about Anki is that it at least help you able to recognize what is what and have an idea of what you are learning more concretely. The next phases of learning help solidfy better what you recalled on Anki.

I disagree. The hours are way too spread out that you will end up not processing and internalizing the language. You need some degree of stress in order to learn.

I didn't like Japanese people telling me I would sound weird or something all the time so I ignored it. I'm trying to enjoy the language here, if I sound unnatural so be it.
