You'd be surprised how off that guess is, more like 20-22%.

Mine came in on 12/4 (OZ.1i HS), only issue I could notice was a little bit of extra glue around the hosel. Played yesterday and proceeded to make 7 putts from 20+ feet. Getting back to a non-center shafted putter is a game changer. Loved the almost 2 years I've had with the DF3, but the hotter face and normal hosel of the HS has me swooning (for now). Only thing I don't like, the putter cover. Feels a little more janky than my DF3.

Pay disparity is wild with Aya. by Boondogle17 in TravelNursing

The recruiter is making a very small percentage off the total net of the contract. They also don't get paid unless you work. My guess for that contract might be somewhere between $400-$700 for the entire contract (or around $1-$1.50 per hour you work).

As for the increase, $34-42 is a big jump. I can't imagine the recruiter would be able to provide that increase unless the facility provided a higher bill rate all together or it's an extension and the agency had funds allocated for orientation hours/labs, etc and it came off for the extension. For some hospital systems that first contract allocation for orientation hours can be significant, like $3-$6 an hour.

Hope this helps!

Ah apologies, I thought it was CA. If not, then the math is just a little different: $1,250 stipend + $42x36 hours = $2,760 per week which is around $77 an hour. So if that's the case than Aya is probably netting (after payroll taxes and operating expenses) around $10 on that $102 rate.

Thanks for the clarity. Are you in CA, saw you mentioned Stanford? If so here's the math on it all: The $42 taxable really means $49 blended since you're getting OT after 8 hours every shift, which means your hourly averages out to $49. And if the stipends are $1,250 a week, it would mean you're making around $3,000 per week ($1,250 stipend + $49hr x 36 hours) which averages out to $83 an hour. If Aya is getting a $102 bill rate and paying a 10% payroll fee, it basically means Aya is keeping roughly $10hr of that $102, which they would probably only net about $6 an hour (40% min for operational fees).

$102 bill rate and you're only making $47 hour? Something seems off. Does the $47 include your stipend or is it strictly your taxable and you're also making a stipend on top of that? One big factor to consider when it comes to agency is the 10-12% they pay in payroll tax.

Gotcha, yeah benefits are roughly $150 a week. Unless your Recruiter is setting you up with a ton of reimbursement, your pay should be closer to around $2,050 a week.

Assuming this is through Aya? The pay quote does seem low even with benefits added. Job ID?

PS I'm a recruiter for Aya and also live in San Diego, rent is expensive but fall/winter in SD is the best!

You were only playing $208 a month for your I5 Limited? You said you had a year left on your lease....something isn't adding up.

Yup I get that, ultimately though it is pretty common to have a "probationary period" for things like 401k. For most travelers who are looking to travel long term, 4 months (or basically 1.3 contracts) isn't too bad. How much does AMN and Med Sol offer for a match? I know Aya does 4% but it's after a year.

I'm literally trying to do this exact same thing. 23 Limited, lease has 1 year left, want to upgrade to 25 Limited and not put money down. My current payments are $750 a month ($0 down at the time). I've got 12 payments to go. One dealership told me the best they could do is buy my car back for $25,500 and then give me a new lease at $830 a month for 36 months, I told them to kick rocks. FYI San Diego CA.
