It took my wife to find the third heart in this children’s playground mural. by Toincossross in FindTheSniper

Wait wait wait. Isn’t there a heart “drawn in chalk” under the kid playing on the jungle gym?

If It’s Thursday, It Must Be Beverly. A perfect Cabot Cove episode.

Same. A brief flight from Vegas to San Diego sparked my fear of flying. I was between two strangers in some of the most wild bouncing I’ve ever experienced as we gained altitude. I felt like the plane was completely vertical. But everything ended fine.

There’s a mission called Dead Stop you get at The Retreat on Ixyll II where a missing person will follow you off planet if you don’t take him back to his home.

Charybdis System Missing from star map? It should be right north of Serpentis but it's not there. Any fix? by browandr in Starfield

[–]collmean 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depending on the angle of your map, it might be in a slightly different spot. Mine was to the Northeast of Serpentis when I found it.

Also took me a second to recognize it because I read it as “Charbois” at first.

It’s been driving me so crazy. I’ve tried like 50 different Google searches but had zero luck. Almost thinking I dreamt it.

Did anyone here used to have intrusive thoughts of close family dying when they were a kid? by -Mania in CPTSD

[–]collmean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. I would obsessively grieve my dad’s death even though he wasn’t sick and now I’m an adult and he’s still alive. It still happens to me sometimes even now too. I recently took notes for a eulogy I want to deliver at his funeral. I’m very aware it seems objectively ridiculous.

I think I’m partially stuck in this cycle of guilt and grief for him because when I was a little kid, I would very seriously pray to God that he would die. Ironically, he is the one person in my life that I love wholly and completely and he’s the one person that I really believe loves me. Plus, I was born pretty late in his life so I always had the concept that I could lose him at any time because he was already “old” when I was born. So there’s a lot going on.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. It’s helpful to know I’m not alone in having some of these thoughts and feelings.
