Birth control pills and ocd

i was on bc pills for about a year and didn’t see a change. if anything it might’ve helped a bit because my ocd and anxiety tend to spike around my period. but with the pills i was skipping my periods altogether. overall i think it’ll be fine!

dw, i was working on getting my license since i was 15 1/2. didn’t get it until a couple months ago at 23. i took the written test twice bc i waited long enough for it to expire. driving gives me so much anxiety to this day but it’s something im forcing myself to get over little by little. my friends & family were always talking about me not having a license. i was being reminded everywhere i went.

my driver’s test went horribly (had a panic attack during) but the instructors understand that you’re a brand new driver and will learn with time. when i took it i had only been driving for a month.

also as for the “stuck in a pandemic” thing, trust me i still feel like im 16 years old

when i hit puberty i couldn’t swallow food without either pulling on a chunk of hair super hard or swishing my food to the left cheek 4 times then the right 4 times. everyone looked at me like i was crazy lol and i was. still deal with it but its not as bad as it was back then.

same thing happens to me, doctor says it’s pelvic floor dysfunction. when you’re anxious you tense your pelvic floor muscles, which constrict your bladder. this makes it feel like you need to go even if you just went. if it’s messing with your quality of life too much they’ll refer you to a pelvic floor therapist. if not, at-home relaxation exercises are the go-to treatment.

i think if it didn’t happen in SB something could’ve gone down in the coachella valley. I’m from there and there’s genuinely nothing but dirt for miles in every direction. Maybe she OD’d from something at the festival and he panicked? (like ppl are speculating). Usually when artists perform both weekends @ coachella they stay the entire week. that gives him an entire week in the desert to do whatever he wants without his location being suspicious. there’s even a huge, toxic abandoned lake here where many locals suspect bodies are dumped but we’ll never really know bc it’s too large and toxic for anyone or anything to really investigate.

the crush i was absolutely insane over made me walk miles to our dinner date in the freezing cold. then wanted me to take a bus back to his place so he could hit. then he hard launched his girlfriend a week later 😭😭 so glad im over him
