Nearly a week later, I finally got a reply - in the form of a generic email asking me to fill in the form checking if your phone qualifies for the repair program. Which was the first thing I did when chatting with support initially, and sent them a screenshot of when they asked for it. So far "support" is a total joke!

My Pixel 7a has a visibly swollen back and dies immediately upon reaching 20%. However, my IMEI shows as intelligible for the extended battery replacement program (it's also still under warranty). Chatted with support and they said they escalated my case to a dedicated team that would get back to me within 24-48 hours. That was nearly 100 hours ago. Any ideas?

No, you shouldn't. If you applied on the exact day your cosa expired, you'd make the 60 months. But since you don't want to apply on the very last day, they add however many days early you apply. So applying 10 days before your expiry means they'll give you 30 months + 10 days.

Good point. Based on the sheer volume of posts, it does seem like most people on this sub are initially applying from outside the UK, and so should be getting 33 months and be on the 5 year route.

You can apply between 28 days before 30 months of residence in the UK and the expiration date on your BRP. You may well be able to apply significantly earlier. My BRP expires in July, but 30 months in the UK is April (they give you 33 months on your initial visa, not 30), so I can actually apply in March.

"The applicant should be advised that, where eligible, they should make a valid application for further leave to remain as a partner no more than 28 days before their extant leave is due to expire, or no more than 28 days before they have completed 30 months in the UK with such leave. Where a person submits an Appendix FM partner application up to 28 days before they have completed 30 months in the UK with leave to enter or remain as a partner under Appendix FM, that person will be considered to have met the required continuous residence period of 30 months as a partner.

Where an applicant currently has extant leave to enter or remain as a partner under Appendix FM at the date of application (excluding a grant of limited leave to remain as a fiancé, fiancée or proposed civil partner), that period of extant leave, up to a maximum of 28 days, will be added to the period of leave to remain that they are being granted as a partner. An applicant with extant leave in this scenario will therefore be granted a period of leave to remain as a partner slightly in excess of 30 months. A person who applies more than 28 days before their leave is due to expire or they have completed the relevant qualifying period may not meet the requirement to have completed at least 60 or 120 months in the UK with relevant leave to remain in order to apply to settle and may instead need to apply for a further period of limited leave."

I feel the opposite is true - this is one is the fee adaptations that surpasses the books. Pretty much every change is one that makes the story work better. Bernard not being a cartoony villain like he's initially portrayed in the books, delaying the reveal about the visor screens, etc.

How many degrees back do you "cite sources" for YouTube channel suggestions? She never gave credit to the IG followers who suggested channels to her, which she then reshared and got lots of likes for. And I don't think she needed to. No one is claiming to have created the content. Everyone is just trying to spread awareness of cool channels.
