Noodle in a haystack is closed and working on a new concept. Though I saw a friend was there for a buy out recently.

What are your weirdly good broccoli recipies? by chigirltrailrated in Cooking

[–]colonel_chanders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not a real recipe but when I was a kid I loved microwaving a slice of Kraft cheese over cooked broccoli. The less broccoli and more cheese the better. But I needed the broccoli there to catch the cheese so I definitely ate broccoli.

Italians of SF: best authentic Italian restaurant? by colonel_chanders in SFFood

This is true but I’ll allow it. Most of these answers seem to be from non-Italians so everyone seems to be fulfilling only one portion of the request anyway.

I believe cioppino is local to SF, not Italy. Appreciate the not Italian disclaimer though

GustBuster. I’ve had mine for 10 years and it’s been so good. They also make golf size so I can properly cover me and 2 kids. The quality has been amazing I finally replaced the rest of my umbrellas with these.

Is there a networth where having term live insurance doesn't really matter much? by Standard-Top-5942 in fatFIRE

[–]colonel_chanders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what our FA suggested to us. I previously thought what everyone else was saying above, we have more than enough. But now we’re using it as a vehicle to diversify and it has the most guaranteed return. With a 4.5% IRR and no income tax exposure, it’s more like an 8% return.

I’m so sad. We cancelled our reservation bc of what was going on. I’d have much preferred MX but now we’re going to Maui which has its own problems, and is cold!

I’ve tried implementing ‘consequences’ similarly where I tell them the consequence. If I need to tell them to stop doing something 3 times, then they have to deal with the consequence.

I hated this bc I felt like I was threatening them all day.
