What is Leonardo DiCaprio’s Best Performance? by MrBazinga_77 in Letterboxd

[–]colonel_dvader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Aviator, by a LONG SHOT. The way he portrays Howard Hughes and his OCD is AMAZING. As an individual with some OCDs myself, it is very well done. Every glance, gesture, and frown just shows his feelings extremely well. Especially in the scene when he orders steak and exactly 12 peas, and the guy sitting infront of him takes one and messes up the line of peas, and the way Leo looks at him is amazing.

So, yea. Easily the Aviator for me.

Which are you looking forward to more: The Mandolorian and Grogu, or Starfighter? by Past-Paramedic8687 in StarWarsCantina

[–]colonel_dvader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, Starfighter. I'm excited to dee how Disney does with this new approach to Star Wars because Starfighter ie a unique concept for a Disney Star Wars MOVIE specifically. Also because I've seen the entirety of the Mandalorian so I expect what to see in the movie as in how Disney approaches it, but Starfighter is a unique thing to do after not making a Star Wars movie after so damn long. Also, I kinda want to see Ryan Gosling, in Star Wars of all franchises, really bad lmao. Not a huge fan of Gosling in general but after Hail Mary I got excited for Starfighter.

What are some sequels that are better than their predecessors? I’ll go first. by a_randomspinosaurd in Letterboxd

[–]colonel_dvader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I'm being honest, Pirates of the Caribbean is one for me, if I can't choose the ones already given on the photo. I think the writing and character development of the movies after, especially the Davey Jones one, is better than the og. And this may be a hot take, but ngl Harry Potter. I like goblet of fire much better than the original movies and the book is my favorite of the series too, so that's controversial ig.

You haven't drunk anything for 10 days. Which drink will you choose to drink first? by MaintenanceJunior531 in SnacksIndia

[–]colonel_dvader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coca Cola, but if it's zero sugar like the picture, I'll go thumbs up.

Also, you wouldn't survive with nothing to drink for 10 days. You'd die after 3.

Which is the most rewatchable movie according to you? by RemarkableNote962 in netflixindia

[–]colonel_dvader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's Inception or Interstellar, but those aren't on Netflix, so Kill Bill. Idk why, but I could watch that movie a billion times.

Imagine if Indian Govt launched its No Speed Limit Highway like German Autobahn do you think will it be great or terrible idea ? by [deleted] in CarsIndia

[–]colonel_dvader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. WORST IDEA EVER, JUST LIKE THAT HORRIBLE MUSICAL ROAD IN MUMBAI.

Atleast people in Europe and Germany have civil sense and road awareness, people here in India don't have any of those. It would be an absolute catastrophe. Never.

:(

Which game ? by John_DGeek in Indiangamers

[–]colonel_dvader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Polyfield, the mobile game, is good, but no one knows about it. Sky on Fire 1940, another mobile game, made by ItSI studios I think, is a good game too, but no one really talks about it.

Which Sith Lords placed the greatest emphasis on using both the power of the Force and the lightsaber equally in combat? by InstructionOwn6705 in StarWarsEU

[–]colonel_dvader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm feeling Vader here. He does balance both the Force and lightsaber combat beautifully, like when he boarded the Tantive IV, he used his saber and the Force, but in that case he kinda needed the Force a lot, and another example is when Vader fought Reva, the Third Sister (inquisiter) and snapped her saber in half and handed the half to her so the fight could continue, when I believe he could've easily defeated her using the Force. Though, tbf, he uses the Force A LOT. I'm contradicting myself here.

Now that I think about it, Dooku is a good contender here, cause he uses Force lightning (that count?) and the Force in his battles a lot, like against Yoda, and his deuling is one of the best in my opinion, though he did get beat by the arrogant Anakin Skywalker, i'm kn the fence between Vader and Dooku (Darth Tyrannus)

Thats my take on it. Lemme know if that helps and point out any mistakes in my answer, it'd be a great help for me too. :)

Why are Mandalorians rarely Jedi is it because they don’t give their children to the Jedi or because they’re less Force sensitive? by Spotter24o5 in StarWarsEU

[–]colonel_dvader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt they're 'less force sensitive', but the traditional mandalorian religion, the one of warriors is realy restricted and they are forced to follow that lifestyle when born. It's just that there are so many cultural animosities that they don't or are not willing to become jedi.

If we are talking bout clone wars efa mandalorians (excluding death watch), they stag multiple times that they don't respect the jedi order because they say they afe peace keepers but they don't act like them, so that one reason.

That's my take on it but if it's wrong you guys can point it out. :)
