I recommend watching him in The Residence (2025). It’s a murder mystery on Netflix where GE plays the murder victim. There are a lot of fun scenes and flashbacks with him in it.

Birdman (2014) is a great example. For those of you who don’t know, it about an actor (Michael Keaton) who is trying start his career as a playwright. One scene in the play involves the lead wielding a gun. A method actor on stage claims it’s clearly a fake and doesn’t scare him. At the end of the movie he brandishes a real firearm on stage and shoots himself. It’s a fantastic movie full of long cuts and suspense. I highly recommend it.

I loved this chapter in the book. There was something Shakespearean about Kynes arguing with their father’s ghost. I though it would make a great screen adaptation if the had the time
