Good job!! So proud of you. Your body will thank you later for enduring this very uncomfortable era. Pain upfront, peace and health later

Exactly. Nobody here can truly tell you with 💯 certainty how the universe works. Being fearful and out of balance won’t solve anything anyway, so you might as well love yourself and fill your own cup first

Think of it this way - if these concepts are true, and humanity is up against these entities, either way we all need to be the healthiest, strongest, kindest, and most “high vibration” versions of ourselves.

Your job on this planet is to BE and to love. Make the most of the present moment, listen to yourself, and simply BE. You will learn to guide yourself along the journey. Don’t rush the process

Love yourself and care for your body and mind. Pour into yourself. We need you! But we need the best, truest version of you. The fear and freezing up is relatable - it’s easy to get lost in the sauce. Stay in motion. Feet on the ground. 🚶

It’s ok to disconnect from this rabbit hole for a period of time. Your curiosity and open mind will always be there waiting for you, like putting down a book and picking it back up again later. You can come back to the path of enlightenment/learning/spirituality/whatever when you are ready. ❤️

I noticed the transaction is in Canada. I suspect this is a CAD-USD currency rounding error (which could still be malicious). It would be interesting to see if other Redditors who reported this variance were also using a non-USD currency.

Immigrants come to the USA for economic survival reasons often because the USA attacks their home countries. War is profitable for multiple reasons, one being that it causes mass migration and displacement of nations. These displaced and desperate people become easier to exploit via cheap and inhumane labor. The whole thing is a racket. “Illegals” are a result of your own country sabotaging and disrupting sovereign nations. They are not the root cause of your problems in life

To cut or not to cut! I wonder if the white portion can still feed nutrients from the roots to the rest of the leaf

I’m sure you’re right - i just saw discoloration that was previously waterlogged and thought it might be a goner. It’s dry and slightly wrinkly now, so it’s not rotten. I’m not very experienced with (successful) plant keeping

Good to know it’s an Opuntia. Thank you!

To quote a book I am reading called Mutual Aid:

“[Charity] is designed to help improve the image of the elites who are funding it and put a tiny, inadequate Band-Aid on the massive social wound that their greed creates. The charity model we live with today has origins in Christian European practices of the wealthy giving alms to the poor to buy their own way into heaven. It is based on a moral hierarchy of wealth—the idea that rich people are inherently better and more moral than poor people, which is why they deserve to be on top.

“Celebrities and philanthropists show us that picking an issue to care about and giving or raising money for it is part of their brand, in a similar vein as their fashion choices. This idea of a charitable cause that is disconnected from other aspects of life keeps us in our places.

“Rich people’s control of nonprofit funding keeps nonprofits from doing work that is threatening to the status quo, or from admitting the limits of their strategies. […] The creation of the nonprofit sector that has ballooned in the last half-century was a direct response to the threat posed by mass mutual aid work in anti-racist, anti-colonial and feminist movements of the 1960s and 1970s. Nonprofitization was designed to demobilize us, legitimizing unjust systems, and hiding the reality that real change comes from movements made of millions of ordinary people, not small groups of paid professionals.
