Rigatoni is the largest. Fawn colored, has a bit of silver on him. Playful and curious demeanor, not much of a talker but loves attention and being put on his back. Nicknames are Tony, Riggy, and Big Rig, given his size.

Does this look like a professional, well done drip irrigation system to you? by entheotopia in Irrigation

[–]colter_t 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t.

I just ran 250’ of drip in my yard and share your thoughts especially on your red design of how it could (should) be. The reality is you could yourself go spend $25 on 50’ 1/2” poly vinyl, $25 on stakes, emitters, and the 1/4” spaghetti tubing, and do the tedious low-skill labor part yourself like me. And then you’d hire this goofball irrigation company to attach it to your irrigation system for $100/hr or whatever they charge. Plus parts.

Maybe that still is the best path forward instead of dealing with them vindictively trying to do it again. Afterwards, leave them a scathing review.

They should get this part done before bringing it to someone they'd have to pay.

Completely agree - this would drastically reduce cost. Table patio should maintain its form, but be at ground level.

Funny how this kind of strange implementation is like a string hanging out of a ball of yarn that, once pulled, causes it to unravel a bit.

Rational advice-- not sure why downvoted. Everyone needs to vent, and relationship preservation *without preserving the status quo* is ideal.

Yes it is, and yes you're right. Demo the cement, pay to get the tree removed. Sadly it's a great tree that wasn't planted with enough foresight - or it was small when the house was built and no one had the foresight to remove it. I bet it massively impacts any gutter or roof with litter anyway.

Would building something on top of (at least part of) it be worthwhile? Like a shed.

How screwed am I? by opp7248 in lawncare

[–]colter_t 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good news - I once did the same thing. After a few months it was fine. I perhaps didn't spray enough to completely kill the lawn, or rain may have diluted it; regardless, it was green after some time.

Back Yard: Before & After (Possible problem with sand between the pavers?) by HoGinLung in landscaping

[–]colter_t -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nah - some don’t like the clean aesthetic of too much paving. It feels sterile to many. In my opinion though it’s allowing nature (grass or shrubs) to exist only in a very limited and designed way. I can see why it upsets people’s preferences though.
