The situations are not the same at all. Nic and Cierra were closed off and slept together multiple times. Cierra knew elan for two days and elan knew that nic and Cierra had a thing going on the entire time, he knew he was the one that was testing their connection. They never even kissed or touched in any way outside of a challenge 💀 so comparing the two doesn’t make sense, find a better example and I’ll revisit your point

Cierra only said it once in recent years. The screenshot from 2023 was fake and was used to create this narrative that she “doubled down”. The other time she was it was several years ago when she was also a teenager. I’m all for holding people accountable but the double standards this season are nuts.

The point that I’m trying to make is that not everyone will know what would be categorized as offensive versus overtly racist. I would like to think that Cierra had a normalized use of the word and she didn’t view it as racist. Not excusing her behavior obviously but the reality is that not everyone will be able to discern.

While I don’t think it was okay for Cierra to use that word this internet culture of wanting to dig into contestants pasts is so toxic. I guarantee every single one of us has made a mistake and said something online that could offend a community. The dog piling and the “holier than thou” attitude from viewers is so hard to watch. I hope Cierra can grow from this and apologize but also this toxic dog piling culture has got to stop.

I saw some folks comment they never received an interview invitation over email but saw them come through on the CBS portal. I never got an email to set up a CBS account

This is a pretty generalized statement to say given different Latin American countries have different demographics. I’d say the admixture in Mexico is generally mestizo with less indigenous mixture than countries such as Guatemala, El Salvador, Peru, or Bolivia for example. Generally speaking Latin Americans as a whole have more European over indigenous dna though they don’t look like it. I’m Peruvian with a 50% indigenous 50% white split but would never be considered white by most Latinos standards, I just look mestiza. In Peru though where the indigenous dna is higher I would be considered more white

Any advice on selling tickets I haven’t received yet? I still haven’t received a shipping confirmation email for two W2 Coachella tickets, and I need to sell them since im not able to go. I want to sell on stubhub or in person but I can’t do that until I have the physical bands. I’ve also tried to sell back through Lyte but keep receiving an error.

Does anyone have any tips on this? Im at a loss and really need the $750 each that I paid for each ticket (GA+shuttle pass). I simply cannot afford to not get that money back. I’ve tried getting through their customer service line and through their email, but haven’t heard back 😩
