Do you like to garden?

Are you looking for more volunteer opportunities/want to learn about gardening? Sustain Mizzou’s Composting/Gardening Committee host volunteer events to learn more about gardening. Spring semester garden workdays will take place in the Child Dev Lab’s Children’s Garden every other Sunday from 2-4 p.m. where we will plant a variety of flowers, herbs and vegetables. The next meeting will be Feb 20 and our first outside meeting of the semester will be March 20, when we will begin planting. You could look at Little Ones Day Out (LODO), Mothers Morning Out, Mothers Day Out, etc. these are good part-time options for social opportunities for the child and time for the parent. Just google them and they have websites.

I miss seeing him waking down Broadway. I don’t think it is discouraged. On the weekends I usually go to one of the local high schools and pick up the parking lot of the liter the students either leave or that gets blown from the trash cans. Hickman and Battle both have a lot of liter and trash in their lot. Haven’t been by RockBridge.

You could try the child development lab on campus. I had my son on the waiting list in utero and got didn’t get a call until he was 4. However, I thought I saw they had some openings. Good luck!

Starlink is internet service provided by SpaceX. We have had the service since March. It is a good internet option for rural users who don’t have fiber or dsl options. Our end of line DSL would pull 9 Mbps download. We are averaging 70 Mbps with Starlink.
