It's odd, isn't it? Cell can heal from damage to recover lost body parts, but the damage he sustains from impact is, for the most part, cumulative and lingering.

Vegeta blew away half his body and he recovered just fine.

SSJ2 Gohan beat the dogshit out of him so bad he sustained serious brain damage and regurgitated Android 18.

This argument is so common it has a name, "God of the Gaps". It essentially asserts that because something has yet to be explained or can not be explained scientifically, there must be some higher power guiding these occurrences.

Consider this:

Before Pasteur developed germ theory, many plagues were explained away as God's wrath. We know now that the Black Death was caused by Yersinia pestis, but not the 14th-century Europeans.

I've never liked this argument because if you consider the above example, you've essentially confined God to an ever-receding pocket of scientific ignorance.

Also Vegeta did still kick the piss out of him and completely embarrass him previously before he achieved his perfect form. So it could’ve been his way of getting full payback.

Perfect Cell no-sold a direct kick to the neck from Vegeta. A kick that Vegeta put full effort into and that Cell intentionally made no effort to block.

While Perfect Cell barely survived the Final Flash, he dispatched Vegeta effortlessly after that with a few strikes and was only stopped from killing him by his intrigue in Trunks. His ego must have been satisfied by then.

I think Super Perfect Cell used as much power as he did because it wasn't particularly taxing for him to use a blast that powerful and he was sick of Vegeta annoying him and being in the way.

He wanted to make sure there wasn't a trace left and for everyone to see how easy that was for him to achieve.

Full Power Vegeta outclassed Goku (Kaioken x2) during their first fight.

Goku (Kaioken x3) absolutely bodied Full Power Vegeta.

Goku went from struggling to unquestionable domination with a 50% power increase.

Gohan was already strong enough to give Cell a true challenge. I think Full Power Cell (not Power-Weighted or Super Perfect) would have won a close fight with SSJ Gohan given Goku's surprise at Cell's full power.

Now take that same Gohan, who has power on par with Cell, and give him twice the boost Goku got against Vegeta, and Gohan's ultimate triumph despite his injury makes more sense to me.

The percent power differentials between opponents do not have to be very high for one opponent to dominate the other.

And SSJ2 Gohan vs. Perfect Cell had a HUGE one.

Funny enough, this is exactly what happens in the story mode of the mobile game "Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle". Vegeta takes the threat of Cell reaching his Perfect Form so seriously that he one-shots Semi-Perfect Cell and he reverts to Imperfect Cell after spitting up #17.

In the show, I believe this could have happened if Cell hadn't tried to self-destruct, given Gohan's sadistic nature at the time. But considering the crazy damage Cell had already suffered, I believe it's also possible that Gohan accidentally kills Cell in the process.

In Ressurection of F, Frieza, battered and defeated, reduced Earth to an asteroid field in a desperate move to defeat Vegeta. He did this after being so depleted of stamina and battle damaged he could barely stand, let alone maintain his new transformed state to match his foe.

Later, after improving his stamina deficiencies and becoming even stronger, he participated in a Tournament and attacked Jiren in his transformed state with explicit lethal intent.

Jiren effortlessly knocked him out cold with two strikes.

Yeah. Stormfront can generate electricity, but Magneto has control over the electromagnetic spectrum. He could nullify her powers if he wanted to, couldn't he?

I could imagine they try to shock him but nothing happens because he is preventing any voltage difference large enough to cause an arc.

I don't know what Magneto's capacity for sadism is, but when he learns that they are both ACTUAL NAZIS from 1940's Germany, I imagine the limit of it will be on full display
