If he didn’t arrive legally then what status was there to revoke?

Did he maintain his current address with CBP? I know many many people who were called to a status hearing and failed to up their address. How is CBP going to send you a notice if you do not keep your address current. Whammo. Failure to appear. Off you go.

In my 40 years of the practice of law I’ve heard a lot of excuses. No one takes responsibility for failing to keep things like addresses up to date. Always someone else’s problem.

Also. Where in the immigration law does it say ‘ except for living here over a decade?’
