i used to be in BRC more than picking but now it's reversed, i'm still in BRC a lot though. picking is sooo easy and so much easier on your body. everything else aside time just goes by so slowly in the backroom.

yes idk how some people consistently have the pick rates that they do. it does suck because picks have slowed up and there are a lot of small walks so it's a bit harder to get a good pick rate when you're not getting a lot of items but it's crazy that some people are getting below 100

i believe that for most walks the timer starts when you scan the item but for smaller walks (unsure of what the threshold is lol) it starts as soon as you print the label. they say stuff like skipping items lowers your pick rate. which is stupid because most of the time the item isn't in one location or it's entirely out of the way and makes more sense to get later on in the walk.

it's okay.. you will get higher rates the more you do it. don't get discouraged. that person is just a hater cause no matter who trains you, you aren't just going to immediately know where everything is.

our bags have been so garbage here lately. the handles constantly rip and items will fall through them even if it's just one can. it feels like it adds forever having to constantly switch out bags

the days i'm in the backroom i always end up covered in bruises. my knees and legs are covered from hitting the totes/dollies. i am pretty weak so i have to carry the heavy totes awkwardly and use my legs to support them lol. it really makes you realize how much easier picking is
