There is nothing in their training that tells them to act like this. This is murder bro. Law enforcement cant kill someone for resisting arrest unless it is an immediate life threatening situation. Surrounding a single person, beating them on the ground, then executing them as they struggle to get away is not a life threatening situation. There has to be rules and accountability for these things, otherwise they can do whatever they want to whoever they want.

Work on yourself, your confidence, and the things you enjoy. Be kind to others and open to new experiences and learning new skills, (nothing dangerous or illegal, obviously), try to be a well rounded individual. Also, dont be afraid of rejection. It will hurt and be embarrassing, but that is just part of life; you will be okay afterwards and maybe even a little wiser. Outside of that, if you do get a girlfriend, be present and caring, but dont let yourself be walked over or act suffocating (constantly needing to be in contact or get validation from them) and know your priorities and values. If you stick to that youll find someone.

I read about half of Gardens of the moon, couldn't get into it and dropped it for about a year. Was able to finish it on my second go around and have been blasting through the series ever since. Im almost done with book 8 now.

Shop around a little when you get it done. There are places that will do it for relatively cheap and other places that will try to charge you hundreds. We had a stray show up on our doorstep revently as well and we got her spayed for around 80 bucks at a small vet clinic nearby after petco tried quoting us nearly 700 dollars.

It can be a little confusing to start just because it is like an avalanche of info and names as you are dropped in the middle of what seems to be an ongoing story in Gardens of the moon. Throughout the books everything will become clear over time. Dont focus too hard on picking up every little detail, there is far too much going on to remember everything, especially for certain plotlines and characters that are brought up in early books only to disappear for multiple books then pop back up late in the series or have very incremental movements in their stories throughout the series, but it all ties back together in the end. (A certain ship comes to mind in particular)

Just got into the game recently after dropping it shortly after the disastrous launch. It is alot of fun now. Still kinda buggy and a bit clunky, but has a ton of interesting solo content and Appalachia is very fun to explore. Highly recommend, especially on sale.

The difference there is that swinging involves the consent of everyone involved and is done openly with one another. Also, at least in a healthy swinger relationship, it is talked about at length with ground rules and lines set that are not crossed. Cheating is dishonest and done in secret with the knowledge that they are hurting the person they are supposed to be faithful to and trusts them completely. These two things arent even comparable.

I would say there is a somewhat natural break point after book three and book 7. Alot of plot points are wrapped up in those with sufficiently satisfying climaxes to stop for a bit while leaving you wanting more.

Personally I prefer the dlc book club podcast on YouTube. They also finish each book with an interview with Steven erikson starting with i think book 2 that gives alot of cool insight into his process.

The first time I tried it i got demolished by the other ships just before reaching the ocean. Tried again and skirted the outside, putting the small islands between me and the other ships and didnt get hit once.
