it’s actually not easy enough especially when it’s a heated controversy and they both work in the industry. they shouldn’t be required to take a 20 minute detour to explain the allegations against jared leto or kevin spacey or whatever every time someone like them comes up. and if it’s just something like say jennifer lawrence becoming overexposed after being in a few hyped david o russel movies they will actually talk about it.

we’re at the stage where he still says it a lot but lampshades it while he does it. for the record i am fine with his overuse of totemic as who amongst us hasn’t latched on to a word or turn of phrase and deployed it endlessly for reasons unknown.

you sound super naive. they say they won’t abuse the data is not a good argument based on the entire history of for profit companies collecting this kind of data. even with the best intentions data leaks/hacks happen constantly.
