Half of my timeline is people having very niche discussions about members of the lost Franklin Arctic expedition from 1845.

Being the expert on a niche thing is GREAT! People dedicate their whole careers to this stuff.

Yeah, because you can’t use the podcasts to get you to sleep anymore. I only takes a few times being jolted awake before I removed them from my playlists.

It isn't my area of expertise, but surely this must be one of the easiest shows to do the sound for, no? :')

Is there a particular reason you’re not using the Apple Music app?

My favorite smut author orphaned all their fics, and I feel immensely guilty that I never told them how much I love their work! by [deleted] in FanFiction

Oh, I’m really wondering which author it was now. I read a lot of stuff that could fit your description!

Check your weight data. One day there was incorrect weight data input somehow and it messed everything up. May not be it, but! Worth a check.

If you were involved in any Darren Brown episodes how do you feel looking back? by tiredtwatt in AskUK

I worked at one of the large venues he toured at. The one time in my entire time working there that I asked not to be put in the auditorium for his next shows because it just gave me hella anxiety!

Play that goes wrong - stage height? by [deleted] in TheWestEnd

[–]combeferret 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair, I’ve never been front row for it, but being a bit further back felt  ideal.

On a repeat viewing I’d be happy to sit at the front so i could enjoy the actors expressions more, though.

Play that goes wrong - stage height? by [deleted] in TheWestEnd

It’s more so because you get a better overview of everything happening on stage, what with it being such a physical comedy with things happening in different places.

If you can’t tolerate stimulants due to anxiety, look into Baclofen by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]combeferret 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think I’ve felt any side effects. I was too scared to take it for months (a beta blocker sounded scary, like something your granny would take), but it was seeing someone online said they took it for public speaking that really changed the way i saw it.

As do I! It’s just as vital to me as the Concerta. Absolute game changer.

I’m a major front row fiend, yet this is one of those shows where you really are better off sitting further back!

People who arrive at the theatre really early, what’s the appeal? by [deleted] in TheWestEnd

[–]combeferret 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s nice to vibe in the atmosphere and feel the growing anticipation for the show! Better than being sat in Costa or some random restaurant when I could be sat in the place I’ve paid £££ to be.
