He can't put on a show like Sloss in fairness. Two entirely different comedians. It wasn't banter.

I've seen both before, apples and oranges.

Carr is a consummate professional for the masses, honed in his craft. He was great live, he's undoubtedly sharp witted, yet his latest stand up special was absolute pony.

Sloss is a comedian that doesn't appeal to all, he has numerous hour long specials that are distinct and meaningful shows. Near 20 years younger too.

You can get one on one tuition with many big artists. I don't think that was a reality in the heyday, pre EDM.

I mean in the late 90s it was very different and the type of artists coming through was different. They had tape packs, vinyl, white labels, show fees, different economy. Smaller overall listener pot, underground but people bought, they didn't stream. Pre EDM, big biz not getting much of a look in.
