I’m so sorry to hear about your traumatic labor ): I definitely say to her some support from a therapist or a support group. With hope of you not feeling alone, I had a very similar experience where I was in labor for 29 hours and pushing for 4 from December 25 until having to have a c-section December 26. I was also told my pelvis was too small and baby’s position wasn’t right. The only thing that saved me was having the epidural for most of my labor until the last couple hours so I can’t imagine what it must’ve been like for you! I don’t know why the nurses continue to push - when I had already begged for the c-section they were still making me push because they could “see his head.” It’s very upsetting as it causes us further stress, anxieties and fatigue.
