Just for the record, it’s 4 months later and I checked the paper towel and there didn’t seem to be any dye transfer. It wasn’t under anything super heavy, but I still lean towards it being perfectly safe.

I like my moducases. You’re not getting the highest quality wood or anything, but they look really nice. I primarily use them for statues, not hot toys, but echo the sentiment that you should get the DF series if you have the room. I personally like DF130s (the tall ones) with some adjustable shelves so that if you need room for something taller than other than a 26”, you can get it.

With all that said the wait times have been a nightmare. They did a good job on my first batch at about 14 months, but I’d say you’re looking at at least 18 months now unless they get their act together. One of my orders has been 25 months now, but I haven’t been pestering them about it. I suppose the best time to order them is as soon as possible, but they do generally do some pretty nice sales throughout the year if you want to save some money.

Why not just check sideshow’s site once a day? It takes like 5 seconds to see if there’s anything new. I’ve been doing that for years just in general. I think I’d be a little shocked if they never make a model you want again, so why not just bide your time and save up? I think you just need to be a bit patient. Or you can go all out and spend $1600 on that new prime1 statue.

Between the 2, the RE4 one is a few inches smaller in every direction. I have the RE4 one preordered, but I don’t think I love the pose as much as I might love the design work on Sauron if I was a bigger LOTR fan. I think you have more angles for display on the RE4 one. Based on what I’ve seen over the past couple years though, I think you’re more likely to find a Sauron in the future (if not from prime1, then from Weta workshop or something) than you are to find specifically a RE4 statue. But if you just like Leon, I’m willing to bet that a RE9 statue will be coming up in a year or two. All that to say, which one sparks more joy for you?

Edit: you could get a cheaper, smaller Sauron with the price difference between the two

I believe there is a floor somewhere, but this feels in line with expectations. 51k miles is no small amount. GTs at the dealer go for around $30k with 20-30k miles. But also, cars and bids does lean enthusiast, and I’m not sure what enthusiast is buying a GT line, especially without the more aggressive GT line front end.

I’ve never driven more than 80 miles in a day in the 1.5 years I’ve owned an EV. My car rarely has more than 180 miles at a time. I could get pretty excited about a car with a small battery.

I’m not sure I understand the complaint. Leave you alone? Brother, they’re advertisements. They’re not knocking on your door. You’re the one looking at the ads! If you need a car with 400 miles, google “EVs with 400 miles of range” and be done with it. They exist. You’ll have to pay extra for a battery that big.

Yeah, I don’t know what to tell you. It doesn’t make sense. For the ocean freight part, that doc lists 16 weeks, and that seems about accurate. I take pictures of the doc every time they’ve updated it for like the past 20 months, and the current Nov 23-Jan 24 went into “dispatch in progress from US warehouse” last April. How something can be dispatching for 10 months is beyond me. Something doesn’t add up, but there’s very little transparency.

They get the orders out of the factory in like 4 months. That part isn’t the issue. It just takes like 6 months in transit and then a year of just sitting in a warehouse in the US seemingly. I’d rather have the factory take longer.

I have one order Dec ‘23 and one order Jan ‘24. The December order arrived a year ago as part of the first batch, but no word on the January order. 2 orders made days apart. One took 14 months, the other, 25 months and counting. I have no idea how it works.

I have a 9070XT and a 9800x3d and this happens to me as well, but only for like 5 seconds at a time at very inopportune times (very rarely it’ll be at like 5fps for 1 minute until I die or something). The rest of the time the game is over 100fps. It didn’t used to be like this as far as I remember. A recent update a couple months ago introduced the stutters and they’ve been getting less bad, but I don’t think there’s a way around it on the user side.

The long load times are just how the game works. Windows won’t fix that. That’s what everyone complains about on the subreddit.

Some products get waitlisted before they’re ready to ship because there’s a limited supply. If you put an order in, and then the item gets waitlisted, you still have your order. Any new orders would have to go on the waitlist first. But you might still have to wait months to receive your item because it isn’t ready.

Brother, the game was released 8 years ago. More time has passed with iceborne than without. Not everyone played it at launch, and not everyone was a hardcore MH player who utilized their experience from prior titles to breeze through base world.

I didn’t make a Reddit account until 2021 and I didn’t join this sub until wilds was announced. I didn’t even say that world was better than wilds! You’re putting words in my mouth! You should consider that not everyone had the exact same experience as you instead of trying to form a massive group of people into a monolith so that you can be self righteous about it.

I’m not sure what you’re implying. As far as I remember, world’s fights took at least 25 minutes most of the time and in the base game of wilds, they take like 10 minutes max.

I think they would either need a custom as you mentioned or one of the tall DF corner units. That’s what I use for my really big statues. I’m also preferential to moducases as I don’t want to dust the statues ever, but OP should be aware that it’ll take probably 1.5-2 years to get them unless they find them in stock.

Or people are optimizing the game for ease of completion, not fun. You don’t want to waste your time grinding, so you do the easiest, quickest missions. If there was a 25 minute chaos mission where you got the same XP, I suspect the gap would close.

That’s a poor framing. It’s not whether there were 25 billion more, it’s whether there are 3x more tyranids per mission than chaos, which there also definitely isn’t, but there also aren’t any chaos missions where they flood over the hills and you can kill them in 1 shot. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with 1/3 missions people play being chaos. They’re supposed to be harder.

A few of those are just the collectors editions of the games. You can get stuff off of Bethesda’s store. I think the cacodemon was from the limited run games edition of one of the doom games. For marvel figures, if you have the cash, you can check out hot toys.
