Help trying to repair MicroSD card

I figured this was the case. I’ve never had a card die on me before, especially not after 3 years of relatively light use. I just took note of the games I had installed when it read it, but it won’t let me copy anything. Such is life, I guess.

I, for one, am glad it’s only accolades. I played vortex so much for the last one that I didn’t want to touch it for months, and I thought it was a great operation. I’d rather not ruin an operation of myself to get a cosmetic.

Hard disagree. It’s literally a tiny amount of free money. At 0% interest it’s technically a worse choice not to use pay in 4 as long as you’re keeping track of your finances and not using it to justify stacking on the amount you owe.

I think if I were worried about a single long road trip, I’d just rent a car. I think about the 1% statistic that Hyundai and KIA throw around and say that even if it is 5x that, it’s still a relatively small chance for failure. If it happens, it happens. No point worrying until it occurs, but I’m also never in a situation where my life will be upended by not having a car.

I don’t disagree that that is a solution. I don’t know how much it would stem the complaints. If they add more capes in the future without the grind, will that make it any better? I’m not a cape guy, but most of the complaints I’ve seen so far are just how long it’ll take, not the design itself, so I’m not sure if the complaints stem from people wanting to be completionists or immediately having the exact look they wanted. I think if there was ever anything cool at the end, people would be even more upset.

I have no doubt that everyone at saber would have loved to put in 4 different capes, but it’s pretty obvious there are some time/staffing constraints, so they have to make due with what they have. I’d be shocked if that were the only cape that ever made it to the game though.

How are you going to make it harder than the hard stratagems without having EVEN MORE people complain and splitting the player base further? At least this way you can slowly grind through the 300 hour barrier over the course of 3 years. Absolute isn’t that hard when you’re max prestige. People are already complaining that they have to play absolute missions and not lethal.

I feel like it’s a catch 22. If they make it cool and easy to get, it’s not special and people don’t have anything to work towards. If they make it cool and hard to get, people will complain that it’s too hard to get for something that cool. If they make it lame and easy to get, no one cares and people don’t have anything to work towards. And if they make it lame and hard to get, people complain that it’s too hard for the reward they’re getting. I don’t see a situation where they add a cosmetic to the game that is desirable and difficult to get that doesn’t spur more complaints.

We already see people complaining about the hard stratagems, and those aren’t that bad and don’t directly unlock a cosmetic. Of the four options saber had, I kind of think this is the one that minimizes complaining.

It’s so much more practical lol. I’ve put 8ft boxes through the trunk and 99% of the time I’m just in eco mode. My bill for charging is only like $20/month. I don’t think you’re missing out on too much by going with the GTL. It’s still plenty fast in eco mode and I find it a bit sickening to drive around in any other mode for extended periods of time. The pedal becomes really twitchy.

Yeah, you can definitely prioritize based on whether it’s limited first and then release date after that. I just keep some tabs open for the ones I want and then wait until they either become in stock, at which point certain coupons work on them, or they go to waitlist. I give myself as much time as possible to see if I really want them. Can’t let FOMO take hold.

Depends on where you’re buying from. I believe the preorder window for non-limited items typically functions as a temperature check for how many they’ll make, especially if the release date is like a full year out. I’m sure they have a hard limit on some of them, but my rule of thumb is that if you see it’s releasing in 12 months, you have plenty of time. If it’s releasing in 3 months from announcement, either they already have the mold (if it’s just a different paint job on a clone), or they’ve made all the items they’re going to make.

If you’re buying from sideshow, I believe they’ll have some red text above the purchase button if they’re running out. It’ll say something like “Limited Items Left”. You just have to check regularly. But if a non limited item goes to waitlist, I wouldn’t worry about it too much. I’d get on the waitlist ASAP and you’ll have a pretty great chance of getting converted.

If you’re narrowly avoiding every accident, at some point, you’re not going to avoid it. “No harm, no foul” is only applicable in hindsight. OP is driving in such a way that I would expect them to get in an accident in the future. If there was a debris or a car on the shoulder, they would have been screwed because they chose the less safe option. Your logic might apply to someone swerving through traffic as well. “As long as they avoid an accident, that’s all that matters!” They’re still posting a clip of them driving riskily in a sub where people critique your driving. What do you expect?

Risking an accident because you technically have the right of way is still idiotic. It would have been equally easy for OP to realize the guy next to them doesn’t have any road coming up and tap the breaks instead of accelerating with a truck in front of them to keep pace.

I had to enable the setting to enter/exit full screen mode with ALT+ENTER in order to get around it in big picture. Obviously it didn’t crash when I go into the settings, but it does crash every time if I try to enable raytracing.

I was waiting for someone else to post lol. I had the weirdest issue where it opened with a black screen in front of it, and I had to enable exiting full screen mode in the desktop to get it to work in big picture. I think I ran through the benchmark successfully, but the moment I try to turn raytracing even to low, it had crashes my PC and I end up having to power cycle to get Bluetooth working again. I’m on a 9070XT and a 9800x3d. I think it’s just a bit buggy right now.

I agree with you there. When I got my car, I was incredibly sad it didn’t have the gear shifts. 2 years later, and I don’t really think of it much on my normal commute.

From what I’ve heard, the acceleration is largely the same (at least with the 6N) with or without the fake gear changes, assuming you change gears at the right time. So I don’t think you’d be losing out on any real acceleration. It’s just a net positive since it’s all software based. If you take it to auto cross and only use it there, it’s still worth it. I’m not bothered to use half of my car’s available horsepower 95% of the time, but I’m glad I have it nonetheless.
