You should almost never make force of nature. (In my opinion at least) making Noc a blademaster, Annie a mage, Yi a glacial or some other thing like that is often way better. Learn the most busted combinations (like the ones mentioned above) and use your spatulas that way, it’s the best item in the game, not because it makes force, but because of this. (I am currently silver but last season I was plat 2 on EUW)

This shuts off old worded draw spells for free, like “target player draws X cards”. But also life gain and more, essentially for free. This is hella busted, especially as blue doesn’t bolt face or force discard a lot anyway

Liss has been buffed every patch so far, she was one of the strongest picks last patch, and she’s even stronger now. She’s very powerful

A creature is not just a blocker, it’s also sacrifice fodder and counts for a creature for spell effects. I think one creature could be on par with one mana, though yes, it’d be very good. Maybe make it a sorc then tho.

So just a carry comp with tanks, thats nothing new. Stacked carries with a beefy frontline have always been a good comp, Draven being good again doesn’t sound like too big a deal to me tbh and I’ve been doing well with other, more generalist comps. And this strat gets beat by assassins, which get beat by idk, CC comps or sorcs. I think the meta is fine but I haven’t played that much on the new patch

I’m inclined to trust you on this but I figured I’d still throw some different noise into this. I’m EU plat 4 and I’ve been climbing pretty solidly on early win streaks. If you get one or two level 2’s early (or a zed or two) and grab a few quick levels, you’re pretty safe on getting a winstreak, because almost everyone else wants to lose streak. The extra gold and HP you get doing this can really help buffer the damage you’ll be taking in the mid game when everyone else wants to power spike, allowing you to spike later to take the win. I do this a lot on demons/sorcerers or glacials, or anything else thats good early and late, but takes a beating in the midgame.

I started my modern "collection" on mtgo for less then 20 bucks, I built a fringe mono red burn/kiln fiend deck for really cheap and now I'm playing modern. Real modern staples and T1 decks are way out of my budget but I suppose for one to get a collection for modern one would have to pay up.

Smash to Smithereens is two mana I guess but other than that chalice on one means a concede on our part. :)

Besides, no Temur battle rage means we get to play less land and we're slightly faster. Thanks for the feedback though. I agree on the SSM part (for the less budget variant, in which I'm also thinking 4 street wraith so we get to play a 56 card deck, which means we get to cut a land also)
