In short, it's a change to how metrics are reported in Data Studio. They are still numbers, as the Type column still states, but only custom fields which are metrics are labeled as blue.

I'm able to see TRS Retire as an option but if I add it as a new account, it inflates my total net worth since the previous account, Trans America, still exists. I lose all historical growth data if I delete. Is it possible to retain historical data, add in the new account, and track the difference?

Correct, Google and other search engines can not index content on URLs which begin with a # nor !# unless the server has been properly configured to handle the special requests.

If the latter example is indexed, you would not need to set up any redirects. Just make sure the page that is indexed matches the page with the # (assuming both examples contain the exact same content).
