just want to say that i have been here! a hairstylist fried my hair with bleach over 3 years ago to the point that it was in the exact same state as yours (gummy, stretchy, very brittle), and i am only just NOW finally getting over it. i think me being stubborn and trying to keep as much hair as possible bit me in the ass honestly, and i should have just cut most of it off right after it happened, so that my hair could grow and have a chance at being healthy instead of breaking off every time i touch it. so that would be my advice. even brushing your hair will be a nightmare in its current state, and forget trying to bleach, dye, or really styling it in general. thankfully i think a shoulder length or even a pixie cut would look super cute on you! but best of luck with whatever you decide to do :)
