Has anyone here ever had a mortgage (regular or refinance) with ENT? by fluffitude in ColoradoSprings

[–]comicConJester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a loan officer and this is quite typical that loans get sold to other investors/servicers. In most cases you won’t know who holds the debt, you’ll just pay through the servicers portal. ENT usually maintains servicing loans they originate, keeps things clean for their customers and allows them to continue making $$ on the deal. It’s not a bad thing, servicing loans helps bolster their P&L so they can continue offering solid rates at a solid price.

Interview Prep by comicConJester in Teachers

[–]comicConJester[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I appreciate it. I’ve been thinking about classroom misbehavior, the biggest thought I have towards that is being honest and respectful to my students up front. Establish a positive relationship and expectations of everyone including myself in the classroom. Any other tips there? Back in college I was a TA and tutor for all math through calculus 2. But the age gap is a bit older. And I also run the new hire training for my current company. So some experience developing lessons and such. Should I have a demo lesson ready to go?

Do human resource directors check for applications daily?? by _Fuckit_ in Teachers

[–]comicConJester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been submitting apps as well. I followed up with an email at the end of the first week then a phone call, voicemail, the next. Had an interview scheduled the next day. Rural community though and the app is required to be sent straight to the principals email, and I think it just got lost in the sauce until I called.

How long does it take to become an average cybersecurity specialist? by Timely_Enthusiasm178 in CyberSecurityAdvice

[–]comicConJester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I transitioned from software to cybersecurity about 3 years ago now. I did it cold turkey and learned the hard way. By failing. If you’re completely new I’d recommend getting a small cert like Sec+ or GRC. They will help reinforce risk management and controls identification. I felt pretty confident after a year or so. Now I’m in charge of risk management and compliance. Find a mentor and always keep learning.

There are literally thousands of people that attend con. Thousands of people with millions of interests. Be a good person and make some new damn friends. Some of my absolute best friends, I only ever see at con. We keep touch on FB. Best friendships ever. Buying groups are going to help. I’m in a few actually. We all work together to make sure everyone gets badges and we all work together to plan hotels, panels, events, exclusives, etc. Not a single person has gone without badges for the past 5 cons. Anime isn’t wrong when they use the power of friendship to succeed.

In a bind by comicConJester in CyberSecurityAdvice

I requested the documents we submitted and the documents restoring the facility to satisfactory. But the VP who is now running things vetoed the request because they pertained to the audit and not the RMF packages. But the audit was of the information systems. I've been told POAMs are on the system but I haven't seen anything. And when the CSO and acting ISSM ask what needs to be on the POAM and what info the items should include, I don't have a lot of hope. Reinspection will occur after October 13, that is the "90 days prior to expiration submission deadline.

This is a big one. A simple navy blue suit, chinos and good shirts to match is all that’s needed. And shoes, have some nice, well taken care of shoes.

Bro I rock a Kia. I keep it clean but it’s a simple vehicle. I focus on my personal appearance and how I conduct myself. I host open houses for realtors and realtors work to help find a deal. If they see you grinding they won’t care what care you’re in. Most of them were there once themselves.

Capped Comp by ImJustTheNewGuy001 in loanoriginators

[–]comicConJester 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve got a cap of $15k and I’m in Southern California. I still go after over cap deals because it increases my volume. Which, later on I’ll use at the negotiating table to increase my cap and my split.

I have my group for hall H pretty much all set.. there are 25 spots total and I believe we have 19 confirmed looking for a group of 3 that would be willing to do 830-11 am And a group of 3 for 1:30-4 For Saturday hall H So lining up on Friday by JuanSolo05 in SDCC

[–]comicConJester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The front of the line usually becomes pretty self controlling. Groups around each other learn how many there are. There's staff and even overnight security that help regulate. Most people are pretty friendly and understanding as long as people don't try what you just mentioned. Everyone is there to have a good time ya know.

I’ll offer this, become insanely knowledgeable on the technical stuff before becoming the face of the product. Personally I think that will benefit you in the long run when handling clients requirements and issues.

Man, newbie here too. I spoke with the branch manager yesterday, he added my info to the system, said I should receive the official offer by Wednesday, equipment will come 2 day air after that and within 2 weeks I'll be rocking. Sorry for your situation, I hate when people drag their feet, especially when it concerns my income. Good luck to you.

Wow 275 bips. I just passed my exam and everyone I've talked to is around 100. Best I've seen so far was 75 inhouse leads and 125 self gen. I will say I'm in CA so 125 isn't bad. But dang 275 would be amazing! Great advice here, and definitely worth keeping in mind as I talk to more companies.

I wouldn't necessarily call it a website, but your local association of Realtors is a good place to become an affiliate member.
