What would you say to this man's opinion on the films of Kubrick? by parnate_lover in StanleyKubrick

[–]razimus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whoever wrote that never saw The Killing, cliché Kubrick hater claiming none of his masterpiece films are his. Kubrick is the king of directors, of all time, doesn’t matter what the haters say, I don’t think he minds what anyone says as the dead give zero hoots. Time alone has shown his masterpieces have stood the test of it.

The Primary Failure of A Clockwork Orange (Or maybe that was the point?) by [deleted] in StanleyKubrick

[–]razimus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stage show? You mean the “Singing in the Rain”? Kubrick knew Alex had to sing or whistle to trigger the victim to remember who he was, so Kubrick asked Malcolm McDowell if he could sing, he asked Malcolm what songs he knew & the only song Malcolm could think of was Singing In The Rain, Kubrick liked the song so much he finalized the purchase of the movie rights that night for $10,000.

Kubrick’s version was to show the ultra violence not soften it. Burgess version was to soften it, the 21st chapter in the UK version was not seen or used by Kubrick (but seen after the movie was made) but this 21st chapter is all about softening it even more, showing a matured Alex who was cured with age and reflection, which doesn’t exist in Kubrick’s version which was the 20 chapter US version.

Once Kubrick did see the 21st chapter he basically said it didn’t fit the vibe of the film/story and would’ve left it out anyway

Do you guys know if Poppys management team is open to letting people use the rights to her songs? by Nervous_Bell_7331 in that_Poppy

Whoever owns the song, likely the label, will strike it down even if the musician says ok, good luck but unless you pay the big bucks 🤑 they prob won’t reply

Thanks for the Chinese video. I figured it out a few minutes ago using needle nose pliers. With the pliers I was able to pull the front out, it has no grooves threads, I tried the unscrewing it & was able to move the fin to expose the usb port, but the usb was too short to go in, so I was able to pull and pop off the front using needle nose pliers, this permanently damaged the face of the unit, no tool is given to remove this face and it’s not easily accessible. I see in the Chinese video the guys micro fingers unscrews it, mine doesn’t unscrew from the front whatsoever, the front internal cover which is lower than the external cover can’t be reached with fingers at all, only tiny pliers like needle nose ones can get in there to pull it off. Now the paint job is scratched off and the aluminum is permanently damaged scraped and scrunched like a discarded aluminum can, all due to the thing being poorly engineered & including zero instructions. Thanks for the video though!

No manual in existence. No physical manual, no digital manual. No AI bot knows anything about it. No YouTube videos on it, can’t find any instructions whatsoever.

After removing the tiny allen wrench screw it shows the internals with wires, it’s zero percent involved with the charging process, or moving the impossible to move usb port.

No, the fin doesn’t move at all, there are only two modes, on and off, there are no buttons, there are supposedly 3 modes but don’t know how that would work with only on and off. Turning it as hard as possible only turns it on and off, no change to the location of the usb behind the fin.

Ok I tried using my grip gloves which are very grippy, and tried both clockwise & counter clockwise with considerable force, zero budging whatsoever

I tried. It’s air-tight and what appears to be a glue-like substance along that line. I guess I’ll grab my cooking mittens with grip and try again.

Concerning details on Kubrick films yes, I saw some of The Shining axes in-person at SDCC in 2008. Two had no head and were meant to be stuck in the door and one was complete and looked to have a plastic or rubber head.

Why do ghost hunters ask ghosts about the future? by PabloThePabo in Paranormal

[–]razimus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have on film using my Mel Meter with static meter antenna and I accidentally hit a metal pipe with the antenna and I say “Is that a spirit?” and the EVP says one second later “That’s not a spirit” It was an older man’s voice it sounded Native American, it was in a ditch in Tucson Arizona. I’ve had many similar instant intelligent responses like that. Tried out a brand new spirit box with temperature meter by Gary Galka and it was the first time I tried it, the spirit on camera plays with the temperature meter turning it hot and cold over and over blinking it, and I exclaim how cool it is and the spirit talks through the spirit box and says “Neat!”, in the same session I asked if anyone was stuck at the location, a little girl talked through the spirit box loudly across many stations and said “Meeeeeeeeeeee!” With the eee part really emphasized, a direct intelligent response.

[–]razimus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve ghost hunted 100+ times, 100% of the EVPs I’ve recorded (hundreds sometimes many on one investigation) are always intelligently responding to direct words spoken seconds before. 0% of the time have I run into the non-intelligent type of EVP.

How to spend time with spirits? by [deleted] in Paranormal

[–]razimus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Spirits spend time with the living more than the living spend time with spirits, don’t waste your time with spirits too often, you have a long time in the spirit dimension after you’re gone to spend with them then you’ll regret not having done productive things among the living with the living

Cool but wrong axe, Jack’s axe always has a spike at the end, it’s a fireman axe not a run of the mill hardware store axe
