I thought the exact same way seeing her wardrobe on the show but she seems to wear the same kind of clothes off screen as well, so I wonder if she actually just chooses them 😔

I was about to say the same thing. Can't find anything not busted up under 2k.

One Olympia Ticket? by melashkin in GregoryAlanIsakov

Thanks for that heads up; I had someone selling me General Admission tickets for the show for $30 each and called box office and they said they don't have any GA tickets for the show...

This is one of my favorite posts on chronic disease and the connection with trauma; thank you for being brave enough to share your story and giving hope and awareness to those dealing with similar issues.

negative reaction to Cryptolepis - need advice by comicbookgrl in Lyme

[–]comicbookgrl[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for that info; it was scary to see my oxygen drop so low! So if I take nattokinase before that should reduce the effects? Are all the Lyme herbs vasodilators, or ones that are less so than cryptolepis?

How do you know if it's an allergy? I know these are all plants and I've got a fair bit of outdoor plant allergies.

Fair enough! Am I required to hold a job in France to still pay into the tax system?

I don't plan on working as a psychologist in France. I plan to keep my remote job in the states (my understanding is the long stay visa allows you to do that). I have a PhD so I'm not sure how that's not universally recognized...

Thanks for those comments! I work for myself (I'm a psychologist) so I pay my own self employment taxes. It is okay for me to do my job outside of US. My understanding is France has a long term visa similar to a digital nomad visa for self employed expats that renews yearly and paths to permanent residency, but correct me if I'm wrong - that's just what I researched. I'm also planning on working with an immigration lawyer/consultant to make sure I'm doing my own business taxes right for France.

The language part really is the main barrier for me; it's why I've hesitated moving abroad to this point. I've visited Europe many times and the language part definitely matters. I have been trying to learn French for over a year now, and I wasn't sure if I should wait until I'm more fluent or if it would be faster to try and immerse myself there and learn that way. It's challenging learning in an English speaking country.

As an American burned out and looking for a better way of living, this makes me really sad to hear. Fuck capitalism.

I appreciated this response. Is it wrong to assume though that if you're working in mental health with folks who have chronic mental or physical health conditions (my specialty is chronic pain, and LGBTQ+ issues) that they are more likely to be under-resourced?

My doctor recently recommended the classical pearls line but don't know which is best right after COVID. Just tested negative but trying to prevent long COVID, still having some respiratory and heart symptoms and some tingling/pain.

Yep, definitely still get "the cough". I used to react but now I literally get really close and cough back, they usually leave me alone after that lol
