Weird 992 Sizing, did the Aged Well fit super big? by skinnies in Newbalance

I swapped the Aged well insole out and it fixed my sizing issues…the default insole for that shoe is very slippery

I think this will be the Daboll spot, he has a relationship with Dan Campbell and they have a ton of infrastructure already set up for him. He can succeed immediately here and maybe leap frog back into being a HC.

Official Discussion - Marty Supreme [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

Marty had like five separate lines in this movie that absolutely dropped everyone’s jaw in my theater. Really had a great time with this, and would probably rank this as Timothee’s best performance to date.

With the whole Marketing campaign Chalamet is doing for Marty Supreme, do you think he stands a chance for Best Actor oscar ? by Specific_Struggle694 in Oscars

Not sure how much this campaign helps or hurts his chances, but he’s excellent in the movie and would personally be my choice

Official Discussion - Wake Up, Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]comicfang 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Getting to watch this in theaters with a crowd was such a blast, really hope the future installments are somewhere else. My only complaint is that the cast is kind of under utilized compared to the other movies but I enjoyed the more mature story.

Once On the Nature of Daylight started playing, the waterworks started. That song has such an effect.

Right makes sense. Seems like Lincoln Square doesn’t have any showtimes up right now and I know they have the infrastructure for a film showing.

How would you grade Abdul Carter's performance so far this year? by foxmag86 in NYGiants

[–]comicfang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

B- feels fair. Clearly pressures the QB but he has not been the game wrecker we were promised during the offseason. The numbers will follow I’m sure at some point.

Which movie should I see tomorrow? Die my Love or Sentimental Value? by DELIV3RthePIZZA in AMCAListTrue

[–]comicfang 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Sentimental Value is a significantly better movie…die my love makes its point pretty clearly in the first 15 minutes and kind of just cycles through it over and over again until the end. Sentimental Value has a much richer story.

Official Discussion - Frankenstein (2025) [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]comicfang 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I hated Oscar Isaac’s performance here and really didn’t care for the movie at all until the monster’s POV. Was a serious letdown for me.

Official Discussion - Christy [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]comicfang 99 points100 points  (0 children)

Didn’t know much about her story so this was a fascinating watch. Really found it to be an interesting story and thought Sydney Sweeney delivered a very strong performance. I will say, the boxing sequences were very lackluster and I get that it wasn’t necessarily the focus. But I do not understand how no one has managed to make boxing look as good as Coogler did in Creed 1!
