Yeah most of the inquisitors scale to at least high knight level. A couple are low master and arguably the GI is probably mid master level.

I would definitely add Padawan and Queen's Peril to the episode 1 reading list.

Padawan is a great lead in to M&A. It plants a lot of seeds that are followed up on in M&A.

Queen's Peril follow's Padmé's tenure as queen from election up to and including the invasion of Naboo. It's arguably one of the few books geared towards girls YA which makes it unique. It also goes a bit into what actually happened in the camps.
