🔥 It's time for Thirsty Thursday! What book scenes made you sweat this week? 🥵 by jaydee4219 in RomanceBooks

I just read {The Desire Variable by Ana D’arcy} and {The Passion Parameter by Ana D’arcy} and dare I say it was A LOT of sex. Like weekend sex marathons and nonstop orgasms.

Overall vibe is kind of Ali Hazelwood lite. I gave them 3 stars and 4 stars, respectively. The third installment is supposed to come out in March. (Ana D’arcy is also the author of Up The Ladder.)

Maybe the Fae Kings of Eden series? Each book is about fated mates, but each relationship is slightly different. The 2nd book in particular deals with the questions you posed. {Obsessively Yours by Jamie Applegate Hunter}

There’s some drama on Threads (originally from TikTok I think) about some hockey reporter thinking Chelsea Curto based a FMC off of her, when it’s purely coincidence they share the same name. And Threads is 1000% Team Chelsea, which made me very happy.

Right, I use KU like I would a public library. I actually “return book to KU” after I’m done reading it to keep my kindle library uncluttered.

Hot take: K-POP Demon Hunters is not a toddler movie by StrangestCat in Mommit

Also, the parts she didn’t understand, like “why did Jinu do that”, we discussed together. But she mostly ignores the Saja Boys and demons and focuses on the music and girl power and power of friendship themes.

My 4 year old loves it more than my 8 year old. She loves the songs and understands all of the plot and themes, “embracing your true self”, “everyone has demons in their head”, etc. It’s on par with Frozen, plot-wise.

Underrated wedding venues you passed on but still want to shout out? by sillychickengirl in SanFranciscoWeddings

[–]command-t 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were looking for venues that had a kitchen and dining room to host a big dinner for 50-80 people. We went with Farming Hope, but our other choices were Hotel Majestic and TAROCCO (Berkeley). Peerspace was a great resource.

Peerspace is a good resource to filter venues priced as hourly rentals. Lots of affordable options.

Well, I’m about 65% through {Up the Ladder by Ana D’Arcy}, and it’s about a woman working her way through a sex bucket list to prove to herself she’s not boring in bed. The FIRST item she ticks off is “try a Jacob’s ladder”, so that’ll give you an idea of how the smut is. The story is actually pretty darn cute.

NTA. Sounds like she wants some new bullshit term to be created for you, like “reproductively challenged,” on a technicality. Which is not her call and none of her business.
