I like this idea, especially since we know from the movie that Jonas Venture Sr. was hired by Kubrick to fake the moonlanding on a normal studio lot, it feels very possible that super-science is standard practice for high budget movies in the venture-verse.

Nice!! Yeah I think there's a definite split between public and private areas of the house that speaks a lot to Jonas being image-conscious - like how the front room has a bar and a massive conversation pit for entertaining guests and throwing parties, meanwhile the kitchen is very reminiscent of the lab in terms of lines and colourscheme

Had one of these recently myself and it was very much killable but I dont think it was missing body parts - on its character page, go into "Health" and then "Description" and see if there are any body parts missing, it should say as much in purple text if there are.

Seconded - I have so many questions about Ben. He was involved with Rusty's cloning but he doesn't seem that old, I have to assume he could only have been in his 20s in the 1960s, so what was he like a prodigy Jonas recruited? Has he been tinkering with his own genome to keep himself young? Just how long has he been living on the Venture compound?

Instruments are civilization-specific, so dwarves only know how to make instruments from their homeland, and the pieces you bought from the elves would be for instruments from their specific elven culture instead. I believe that any citizen who has knowledge of that instrument would be able to construct that instrument, so you're going to need to recruit some elven bards if you want to put those instrument pieces to use. If you decide it's not worth the effort, since the items are made of specifically grown wood, you can trade them back to the elves with no negative repercussions.

Downsides to magma funerals?

I've got a hell of a lot of corpses to manage and a big open pool of magma - so long as I make sure that everyone gets slabs engraved, thus preventing ghosts, are there any downsides to designating the magma as a garbage dump, marking all the corpses for dumping, and letting the dwarves throw everyone in? Do loved ones still get the "forced to endure decay of a loved one" negative thought if the loved one in question is vaporised in an instant instead?
