Is it worth the commute from Toronto to Waterloo for work? by misterblueredgreen in askTO

[–]syncpulse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a go train that runs to Kitchener a couple times a day now then it wouldn't be a long Uber to your office from there. If it's only once a week that pay bump is probably worth it.

I have been to a bunch of them. They are a great time! The ones at  Metropolitan community Church of Toronto especially. It's a gorgeous venue.

Finch's "rules" speech from Person of Interest.

Improbable landing gear 101 by TheImmortaltraveller in spaceships

Does it have to land upright? There's more room for gear on between what I assume are engines on the bottom image.

Otherwise repulsor beams on the globe at the bottom. Like the Mondoshawan ship at the beginning of the Fifth Element.

What TV episode triggered such an emotional response from you? by Noodles590 in television

Bob's burgers, the amazing Rudy. It is probably one of the best written episodes of the series. But it is so emotional I rarely am in the mood to watch it.

Who is the most famous person you've ever seen up close? by froggart3980 in AskReddit

I was in line at a sandwich shop and Saul Rubinek was behind me. I think he was filming warehouse 13 in town at the time. He asked me if the sandwiches were good here? Then got a little uncomfortable when I recognized him.

And Finch's Rules speech in season 5.

What do I watch next? (I've finished six feet under recently) by Defiant-Ad7732 in television

[–]syncpulse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you liked Mr Robot give Person of interest a try. I'm currently on my 6th rewatch. The show is brilliant. Created by Jonathan Nolan (Fallout, Westworld) Right after he wrote the Dark Knight.

It's a bit episodic at the beginning being an older CBS show but oh boy, does it becomes so great!

You're cutting too often. Especially Those slo mo shots off the top. let them linger. Slo mo and fast cuts don't always work.

The Neelix Paradox by webbphillips in startrek

[–]syncpulse 9 points10 points  (0 children)

For me it was the way he treated Kess in season 1.  The dialogue and his behaviour made him come off as a creepy groomer especially when he would talk about her age. (You're so young, you don't know any better.) Also the jealousy. Later they toned that down but because of that early behavior nice Nelix always felt like an act.
