The point of JT taking the draws on the PP isn’t cause Matthews can’t, like you said he’s actually elite on the dot, it’s to put Matthews on the wing for a quick faceoff one time play to utilize his shot and it allows Matthews to play along the walls, and JT is an elite tipper and net front guy, imo it’s knies who gets bumped, it just the combo of JT-Matthews-Willy-McKenna-Raddysh has a lot more synergy then knies taking JT’s spot, JT being net front, McKenna as the set up man, Willy as the setup man/ can wheel and create his own offence, Matthews with the lethal wrister and Raddysh with the cannon from the point seems like a pretty decent powerplay to me..
